    Esbr is pure electric. Not hybrid. There are mods for the etk and stuff for hybrid.

    Developers said that an official hybrid vehicle is unlikely as one made by their high quality standards would be a lot of work for comparable little gain. Seing the quite high standard of

    this is even more true as it would need to be quite impressive to be significantly better.

    Talking about real life..... I personally think that the hybrid boom - primarly caused by increasingly strict emission laws - is just the final death throe of the Internal Combustion Engine in cars in general.

    The better EVs get, the harder it becomes to justify to carry an ICE arround in the first place. Soon a larger battery will be cheaper than adding a complex additional ICE/Hybrid setup to the vehicle. In terms of maintainance costs it is already superior.

    Most EV owners will never buy an ICE car ever again, after getting used to the superior torque curve and smoothness of an EV. With electric becoming mainstream.... pressure on remaining ICE car will only rise as polical majorities will ban them from the city in the next decade.
