Yeah I think they really build them to just sit in display cases for all of eternity.

 

the rest of the model is built amazing. You even have the indents in the window switches and the same trunk hinge mechanism. It’s just they use like paper to put the mirrors on.

 

Guess they cheap out on the mirrors to cut costs, although I think it would be wiser if they just had the mirror as a fixed part of the body or door

 

exactly, it should just be one piece. I mean I paid over 350 dollars for a car model for gods sake why has it broken already

 

I can only imagine how much more fragile and expensive the larger ones are.

 

well this is 1/8th scale. Once you get to 1/4th you might as well buy the car......................
