I see, thank you! In case anybody else missed it, the default user folder is in appdata now, so, as of version 0.22.0, KISSMultiplayer.zip should go into: %USERPROFILE%/local/BeamNG.drive/0.22.1.0/mods/ Notes: %USERPROFILE% is an environment variable for the (hidden) appdata folder in your Windows user folder. The 0.22.1.0 in the path will change relative to your current version of BeamNG.
Hey! Sorry for 0.4 release being a bit rushed This update fixes critical issue found in 0.4 Changelog: Fix extremely high CPU usage on windows(At least, in theory) Attempt to fix server crashes
When I launched the game, nothing appeared. There weren't any extra boxes for chat or server selection. Is this an issue with the recent BeamNG update?
This is the filepath I used: "C:\Users\lmaoyourenotgettingmyname\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.22.1.0\mods\KISSMultiplayer.zip" I'm not sure why it's not working. I ran the bridge as administrator, I gave it network permissions, I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly too.
I'm on Windows and I used the correct bridge. I'm decently sure I didnt make a dumb mistake, I think it's an issue out of my control for the time being. Edit: Yeah uhhh nevermind... I'm not the brightest one out there. I installed it incorrectly. I didn't see the other "KISSMultiplayer" .zip file so I just dragged the downloaded folder into the mods folder and renamed it.
Put it in your mods folder. You should be able to access it through documents. If not you have to go to options under the view tab, go to view and check show hidden files, folders and drives. Then go to appdata\users\(user)\appdata\local\beamng.drive. Also, have you never installed a non-repo mod? You should have to mods folder pinned to quick access.
Does anyone else have problems with kissmp-bridge crashing? This happens whenever I try to connect to a server: I'm using Windows 10 20H2, if it helps.

The whole thing is open source, you can just check if it has any malware coded in lmfao This malware thing has been answered on HellBox's GitHub before: https://github.com/TheHellBox/KISS-multiplayer/issues/53
Hard to say, depends on computer specs, the internet connection and the server location. For me, KissMP runs better than BeamMP, I get more FPS and have a better sync quality.
The thing that freaked me out a little was people talking about cracking some software and then getting that file which was really confusing to me....
