okay so after looking around I realized Beam.Ng has no modern trucks. We got a remaster of the D-Series but it was just a new front facia the roof lines look rather odd. So with me having absolutely no knowledge on how to J Beam or make mods in general I decided to export a model from one of my (FS19) Giants Editor 3d models for a silverado! I have a crew cab and a regular cab, maybe a double cab later but the models are finally ready to put in blender. Here is some of the progress so far! (pic of reg cab)

Correct me if I'm mistaken but shouldn't the truck in the image be a bit longer?

if u need help with jbeam just copy the d series jbeam and rename everything to 2019 silverado. Notepad++ will help with this. you can got to to find and replace so example u type in find "pickup" and in replace put "2019 silverado" for engines you can make an engine in automation and look up the specs on google. If u want a different engine model then just delete the old engine model and replace it with the new model. I have a video on my youtube channel https://youtu.be/CeuWuUONgOk for making car parts for the game the same thing applies for engines. i hope this helps you pout alot in trying to make your mod I think this will really be cool for the game. For the jbeam you can morph it a little bit in the jbeam editor. if you want a reference mesh in the jbeam editor then export your blender file as an obj, but for ur mod export it as a collada dae. I hope this helps you out.

yes but u rename the parts in the jbeam instead but it would also be a bit better than a russian one bc russians dont take there time lol because they are always russian to do things.

Still a meshslap even after you rename the parts because there's not much effort needed to do this either. At least the nodes have to be moved to fit the shape, but this is the BARE MINIMUM. It's still better to start almost from scratch, importing 1 D-Series part at a time and renaming it, fitting the Jbeam to the new model, and once it's good taking the next part, etc.

they take like two weeks to make each and I have stuff to do. i checked my analytics and 90% of my viewers are 12 and from Russia so honestly there's no point even making them because they're just stupid kids trying to make meshlaps.

I’m so confused on y modern but upcoming ones down it makes no sense dont just say “CaN wE bAn ThIs cRap” how about actually telling him if he’s doing something wrong and encourage him instead of some mean remark I’m pretty sure you didn’t just hop on Beamng and instantly knew how to mod ppl gotta start from somewhere

Banning mesh slapping would be kinda silly because you can still make a good mod with mesh slaps its just the bad ones that stick out like a soar thumb.

Then you have to make sure the headlight glass goes up when you turn the lights on
