WIP Beta released Moonhawk Stock Car Race Car (Early 80s NASCAR stock car)

Go ham everyone. Its out lol. Btw the fuel cell jbeam is a bit wonky atm and it may explode opon respawning it or making a part change. If that happens press J to freeze physics then respawn the vehicle to fix this.​

ehm when it loads in it breaks the game and i need to reload it again and then it works

 

The jbeam for the fuel cell is unstable and Im trying to fix it. It shouldn't be crashing the game entirely though. Normally freezing the physics (J) and then respawning it fixes it.

Is there an engine variation to get the air cleaner to stick above the hood? Both models look the same.

 

Whoops. Forgot to add that model. Theres some updates I need to do anyway. I got permission to add the NASCAR stock car sounds to the cup engine so imma do that and add the custom intake.

 

First off, for a first mod, this is really good. Now there are a few bugs/issues I've found.
1. The chassis (tubes and rollcage) is too weak, and bends easily.
2. The cowl hood doesn't appear.
3. The back of the frame has weird textures.
Take your time on these we don't need them to be fixed immediately.

 

yeah, also does anybody elses car send a bunch of false damage messages and pause the game whenever you respawn it.
it says "engine broken" and "FR Tire deflated" but everything is fine

Its caused by the fuel cell, replace it with the standard tank.

This is so damn cool.

 

If the car doesn't spawn because of instability, press "J" and then respawn the car. That fixes the instablility. For the error messages im working on a fix for it

it happened with me to but I just cleaned cache and it works just fine

 

This is a quality mod, great work!

 

Haven't had any reports of texture problems. Clearing the cache should fix it though.
