Re: General discussion chat Yeah a few people miraculously survived it somehow, apparently the pilots did what they could to bring it down safely. Have the deaths been confirmed on the Algerian one yet? It isn't entirely implausible that there were survivors for that one.

Re: General discussion chat How would you accidentally open the door and drop your phone? If you somehow end up putting your phone into a facility similar to a postbox by accident, you've got bigger problems than your missing phone.

Re: General discussion chat apparrently hurling my controller across my room did fix it! yay! note: i dont get angry often so it is rare for me to hurl things across the room,i would normally just rage quit and go do somthing else like watching youtube videos or somthing.
Re: General discussion chat When I turn the backlight of my K70 on I can hear a high pitched constant beep from my laptop's audio. The volume/pitch changes with brightness too.

Re: General discussion chat That will be the pwm to the backlight. The screech/buzz from cheapy DC motors as they vary speed (assuming they are in a speed controlled setup) is also audible to a person without implants and caused by pwm. Backlight pwm probably puts noise on the 5v bus and then the keyboard cable acts as an antenna to transmit an rf signal which the cochlears pickup. Stick a cap between 5v and gnd at the laptop end should fix it (I'd hack a USB extension cable or something)
