yeah. the ones with the d-series look absolutely baller, but the other ones have some sort a weird light issue, kinda looks like extreme ray-tracing
not really. turning on reflections /=/ real time ray tracing BeamNG wouldn’t be a good real time ray tracing game, it’s art style is too realistic. You can get the same effect with global illumination and use much less GPU resources.
only thing beamng needs is better materials and global illumination, then it'll be close to photoreal
It's a preset I made myself. If I release it to the public I want to make it part of a lighting mod otherwise it looks horrible if you don't change the lighting manually before each set of photos.
For some reason i really don't like how RTGI looks, how the colors seem to blend over each other, it just looks weird to me.
