That's a question for @TrackpadUser as he is the one that programed it. Also to show how much travel this new suspension has... this is stock. And this is the new suspension I am working on (yes, it's still independent suspension) Ignore the bump maps... they got derped on my end with the new update.
I wonder what max size of wheels you can fit there. T-Series wheels definitely, maybe if you remove the bumpers you'll be able to fit monster truck wheels or something? Or very big donk wheels? That would be funny to see in the mod, a donk Hummer lol
man i cannot imagine the body roll with that much travel. i hope it has some REALLY stiff sway bars Also i really like the grille, reminds me of an old japanese jeep
I mean... your more right than you know. Naturally with designing this type of suspension its all kinda new territory for me, so with this kind of insane travel, I currently have not worked out how to do sway bars yet (although I also haven't even bothered trying at this point). That will come in a bit. But the body roll is real... it is insane... and it if hilariously funny. Here is a 2CV on full attack... Now imagine this... but a Hummer. Its great fun to just sling around. It just leans and leans and leans but never falls over. Its also incredibly controlled while going over large obstacles... it handles its weight fairly well. I have discovered though that I can keep the suspension very soft and still control most of the body roll just by setting up the damping correctly... but if I can have my way with it... I plan on implementing something a bit better then just some shocks like I have now.
The mod is a work in progress mod, if Sithhy or any of the current modders working on it decided to cancel it we'd know. Besides, the latest progress update was 7 days ago.
It is just taking a long time to finish because it has lots of parts to make and some unique things like tracks and inflating tires system
