I don't have time to take any nice pictures or list every completed neighborhood this time, but here's an aerial shot of the map in its current state.
You are either working insanely quick or I haven't been paying attention to this thread. Also, what are your PC specs, and how do they perform on the map?
It's probably a private mod using the Civetta Bolide jbeam, but i dont know. Maybe a mod for this map?
Both wrong. The Turismos you see here are static level objects, like the excavator on WCA and Hirochi Raceway and the planes on Utah and JRI. They are not functional.
I actually made one, hope you guys enjoy it. Even CarMightyVids commented on it. (I hope I dont get flagged for spam or something)
I actually thought something like this a few months ago, but all loading screens filled with Beamng cars. Like Lowrider Bluebuck in the docks in WCUSA, race between Track Pessima and Covet on Hirochi track, offroading Hopper on Utah and police chase in Italy with Piccolinas, so it can be kid friendly.
Each borough in GTA IV is divided into sections, and in Algonquin's case there's 12 of them. What you've seen so far is sections 1 through 8, and Star Junction and The Triangle make up section 9. That being said, I have decided to skip section 9 for the time being and come back to it once I've completed sections 10 through 12 (Lower Easton, Fishmarket North, Colony Island, the northernmost areas of Northwood, and Golden Pier). I know it's odd that I'm doing what is arguably the most iconic area of Algonquin last, but it's because that section has a large number of animated models and UVs. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to import those animations, and if so how I should go about doing so (it's definitely possible, even base game levels have animated models, but it'd be more work and I have no idea how badly it would affect performance).
