he means the grey rectangle that still makes out the shape of the old lights that aside, lookin really good so far! my advice would be to shrink the wentward logo on the front and adjust the windows to look more flush and modern, kinda like this. in the future you could add those huge mirrors too
Wow! We have 2 buses for beamng.drive for years and now we have 2 WIP mods, this and https://beamng.com/threads/bus-for-beamng-drive.78620/. Yay!
I believe that the frame is the same as the "old" DT40L so, if it is, the ET40L mod or the Hybrid Mod would work with no problems
This would push the release date back, but could you make the frame a teensy bit tougher and make the gauges and driver area safer and more modern. Other than my... erm... complaints / suggestions, it's a great mod in progress and i cant wait to see a full and detailed actual changing the bus Wentward mod...
Well the goal of the facelift was to change the aesthetic of the Wentward, not really to make a whole new bus. That's why I call it "facelift" since the base is the same, only the design/configurations change like for IRL cars.
--- Post updated --- there are literal buses where i live that are modern but not, just a "facelift" of an already current design
Caio Millenium IV (2016 - ...) Caio Millenium II (2003 - 2011) It is visible that the body didn't change much since 2003. Although, I can see that US buses have WAY longer lifespan. For example, the Prevost H series is, basically the same from 1989 till today. For comparison purposes I'll use the Marcopolo Paradiso as a example. 1989 Marcopolo Paradiso (G4) 1993 Marcopolo Paradiso (GV) 2000 Marcopolo Paradiso (G6) 2009 Marcopolo Paradiso (G7) 2012 Marcopolo Paradiso (G7 Facelift) 2018 Marcopolo Paradiso (New G7) It's kind of funny to see that in US the same Bus (Prevost H Series) only got small facelifts from 1989 to 2021, and here, in Brazil we got 3 very distinctive generationsfrom our best selling Bus.
