I saw a lot of people sharing their personal hand burning stories so I'll share mine. Just about two months ago, we were doing an iron working seminar at my school. My friend was trying to use a blowtorch to rust his art piece. After about 10 or 15 minutes, he was done and he put his art on a table. I went over to clear the table and picked up the art not knowing how hot it was. It was really really hot and luckily I didn't drop it when I touched it or it might've broken the art. My hand hurt for the rest of the day but it could have been much worse.

    Couple of things...
    1. When I was little, me and my dad went to an electronics store, and with my obsession to touch everything was pushing random buttons. Well as my luck would have it, I pushed a button at the exact moment the power to the store went out. My dad then turned around and looked at me and we then left.
    2. Me and my brother were playing video games at night (and we weren't supposed to) and got grounded for a month. But my moms reaction was hilarious.
    3. The fact that I can hop past my schools internet firewall by opening a VPN. :)

this will be a rather long post as I have many storie of my idocracy. once I was answering some school wuestions one of them was why do we need.... dangit I forgot but it was why do we need something. my answer? Yes.

I was once looking for mayo in the fridge for a sammich (it was quite good after this idiot moment) I called mom over because she said we had mayo and I didn't see it, it was on the shelf, obscured by nothing and the best part, right in front of me

I was about to go to bed and I was tired as hell, and I was also pissed for some reason I cant remember I went to sit on my bed and I missed but like an inch and fell flat on me bum

once my grandma left her credit card at the mall

my school dosent allow us to change the backgrounds on the computrers, but when we do no one give a dam

once at lunch I brought my nook (which has no internet capapalities just remember that) I got my lunch and sat back down with my nook on sleep mode, one of the ladys in the lunch room accused me of accessing the internet on a fricking nook that dosent have the ability! (she dosenty like me...)

my old first grade teacher rubs every ones faces in the fact she had some special type of degree that is for the best of the best, she has major favrotism issues, treated my best friend autistic brother like crap, treated my best friend just as bad, the worst part of it all, she still works at the same dam school:mad:

once my cellphone went (missing) it turned up 3 days later buried under a hat

I was looking for a pair of pliers couldent find them and they were right in front of me

I forgot I was wearing socks on my way to a roller rink and almost made my mom turn around to go get me some

a kid like 3/4 my height thought he could beat me up (nice try!) *coughs* not *coughs*

didn't learn to tie my shoes until 3rd grade

    called my teacher mom

burned my mouth by means of fish sandwich

I sat in my gandmas car alone and shifted it into neutral and it rolled back a good foot and a half then stopped when I shifted back into park and funny thing, she didn't notise

how did li learn to ride my bike?, my training wheels broke

fell on the ice in the ice rink while standing still

phone rang in the middle of class

that is about it that I can think of

It's pretty funny to throw whole chicken sandwiches at people during lunch.

i can beat that. Looked at the stand for my soldering iron to see it empty while I was soldering some stuff, "Wheres the soldering iron gone?". Freaked out because I had no idea where it was and it was turned on. Never occured to me that a) it requires mains power so following the cord would locate it and b) it was in my hand.

lol, the classic "oh no, i cant find something" when you already have it in your hand (or in cases of sunglasses and such, on your head)

Ooh, you and I are gonna have some problems mister. Nobody gets the name wrong.

    J/K
Could be worse. Some guy kept referring to me as Steven on espernet IRC, spent ages wondering who the hell he was on about before noticing he was addressing me and had misread seven as Steven repeatedly therefore assuming my name is Steven. It isn't. Its Callum actually.

Callum? That's quite uncommon where I'm from, is that a family name?

Callum is a male given name and surname of Gaelic origin meaning "Dove". It may be also spelled Calumn, Calum or Colum. Callum is a popular boy's name especially in Scotland where it was the 24th most popular boys name in 2012.[1]

Can be a surname, but it is not my surname (as if I'd plaster my surname across a forum :p)
Consider I have mixed Scottish and american ancestry, might make sense why I have a name particularly popular in Scotland and a middle name from america

Very interesting! Names from different regions fascinate me, whether they're from other states, other countries, or straight unique. Not surprising considering my name (Doyle), I guess, as it's a pretty uncommon family name.

I rember when I was 3 I thought I couldnt hurt mysefl. So to test that, I got some stilts and tried to jump off this plastic playhouse (wich is about 5-6ft tall) And when i hit the Stilts, They snap and i slam my head into some bricks near the graden in my backyard.

More reently, I decide to play with these paper matches from ralphs (Store in America) I take one match out of the book, and strike it. Then I was SO SMART that i put the book on the ground and dropped my match on it, then proceed to open the book of matches, while the burning match is still on top of the book. I now have a 3rd Degree Burn on my Thumb and upper left hand. thank god im right handed.

I was messing around in my neighborhood with my BMX bike, when suddenly, 2 hot girls walked by. Naturally, being a guy, I had to do something. I tried to do a wheelie and pop up onto the curb across the street to look cool. Well... that was my first mistake. I totally ate it. I did a complete belly flop onto the sidewalk, tore up both my elbows, and bent my handlebars a little bit. That my friends, is how to be smooth...

Yesterday I picked up this big bundle of leaves in a yard I was mowing and it was a huge-ass anthill.

Back in march me and a buddy decided to ignore the big red "RIP CURRENT WARNING" flags at a fairly unknown beach near Santa Cruz
Unsurprisingly we got stuck, badly. You know when they teach you to swim parallel to shore when something like that happens? Try doing that when the swells are so big that waves are crashing in front and behind you.
Thank god there was a lifeguard though, made it out pretty shaken, but we went back out the next day and luckily this time we stayed closer to shore
