Thank you! I deactivated it and everything works now. It didn't conflict with this mod before 0.22.2 though so thats a bit strange.
Hi, i am having problems with this mod. I downloaded the two mods that you need with this mod for it to work but when i spawn it in and i put rims on it. Well first i tryed to put a tire one the steering axle rim witch I could not do. but with the two rear axles, the only tires I can put on it are super swappers heavy-duty offroad tires.
Did you try just running the Gavril T-Series Expansion Pack, GTG Commons Mod, and D-Troxx Truck, Trailer, and Bus wheels mods? It sounds like you have a potential mod conflict.
Did you try the FAQ? The issue hasn't occurred during testing. To be of best service, I need to see your game log.
@Gregory TheGamer FYI, I have not been able to get the TUX16 to work with just side step tanks. It acts like there is no fuel.
We'll check it out. Those tanks have been causing issues before. One day it's fixed, the other day it isn't. This came up during testing as well. Pressing CTRL + L should fix it (Reloads LUA). Can you provide your game log so @NOCARGO can diagnose it. Might be a bug in your code @NOCARGO. Still interesting why it happens.
@NOCARGO @Gregory TheGamer There were two logs shown with the same time. I'm not too familiar with this stuff so sorry if it's the wrong thing. I just included both. The one called beamng.2 is closer to the time of the bug i think. In beamng.2 the line 2018.15236 is when I spawned the truck. This was also a custom config that I made and spawned when I saw this bug, and before this the bug didn't happen. I didn't really look through beamng3 log
I was playing with the mod and I crashed the truck and ruptured the fuel tank and the tank went empty. I wasn't paying attention to the fact that the fuel level is saved during session and when I restarted the truck, the fuel was empty and the mod didn't fill it back up because it said there was a rupture. I have no idea how to refill the tank and I can't find any instructions anywhere. can someone help me fix this problem? its very fustrating
Thank you for your co-operation. We'll take a look at the logs. I just checked in-game and the issue can be fixed by resetting the vehicle, filling up the fuel tanks, and resetting it again. The message will not disappear, but at least the vehicle runs. Otherwise, I suppose CTRL + R would do it as well. Can you provide a log?
Yes but the problem is I don't know HOW to refill the tanks. every time I would reset the truck it would say "cannot refill, tank ruptured" and no matter how many times i'd reset it wouldn't work. I don't know if you have to wait for it to refill but it didn't seem to refill. I don't know how to refill them. thats why I'm here. I tried CTRL+R and it didn't work. it still kept turning off because it had no fuel.
You need to assign a keybinding for that function (the same goes for the controls of the OBC). More info in the FAQ. I updated it a few minutes ago with (hopefully) the answer to your question.
This problem is most probably map related, you can test that with using the ETK 800 on the same map and see what happens. I discovered the problem here. It should not occur on official BeamNG maps. Yes, if the tank(s) is ruptured, as in real life, they should be replaced Resetting or reloading fixes the tanks, yet they still need to be filled. If you reset before the tank(s) ran totally empty there should be an approximation of the current content or an arbitrary amount left if I recall correct. It's also possible that on the next session (or after despawning the T-Series and respawning it) the tanks are empty due that same rupture. Ctr + r fixes that. The rupture message should not persist after resetting however. I will take a look at this tonight.
once again congratulations on the incredible mod, would it be possible to add a mobile / adjustable fifth wheel?
As a driver, I have to say these are the best trucks I've seen modeled in a game so far. Anyway, I can't use some of the trucks, they won't start. There's no option in config, to add fuel to them.
There is no option called "Refill Fuel" or something along those lines in your vehicle-specific control settings menu? This is now planned due to a lot of requests.
You guys where right, I left a bug in the code that caused the message not do disappear after resetting. This issue has been fixed in the meantime. I'm also still working on other quirks regarding fuel tank rupture. They are not so disturbing however as opposed to the rupture event being not reset. The other quirks just have to do with the amount of fuel not being correctly preserved anymore after tank rupture. But yeah, what to expect in real life, right ? The main goal of the fuel state system is to be able to keep track of fuel amount and economy over a longer period and should work fine as long there is no rupture (leak) to 'repair'.
