So, after getting some sleep, i would like to know what your impression was of our first live stream (over at http://www.twitch.tv/beamng/). What would you improve or want to have to see in the next one? PS: the recorded sessions are available for viewing there: http://www.twitch.tv/beamng/videos?kind=past_broadcasts
Ok, thanks for the stream (despite the fact that I missed it), but when i watch the recordings, i saw some things: 1) Steering wheel is too sharp in all vehicles instead of Covet 2) Water is quite unrealistic (i know it's not your fault, i just saying) 3) And i have a question about: how much possible ways to steer the car (using keyboard or mouse or steering wheel or what)) Thanks for the stream again you guys are awesome making wonderful things, great to see what you've done! Keep it forward!
first: its an alpha version, a work in progress, so things will be fixed/improved in the future 1: the steering rate is set-able by the user 2: whats unrealistic about it? the visuals are simply not ready yet 3: whatever windows game controller you can attach: creating new input maps is a task of some minutes. Mouse steering is planned but not integrated yet
They only thing I saw video wise was the way the camera moved, it's gonna make some people think it's too drifty. I also think it would be nice if you guys talked or answered questions. Just my preference there though.
we worked as team: one streamed, the rest answered questions in the chat, that is sadly, not recorded
And I think you guys will do this, but be careful with the alpha. Please. If it is really mostly done through the T3D interface, then people are going to hate if they can't figure it out. And we never underestimate human stupidity here. And I don't think people won't buy the game because of it, but it destroys moral. This is assuming alpha is only available to some people, not payed though.
everyone will be able to enter the alpha testing phase, but we will not reveal more for now. "stay tuned"
Amazing work! A lot of questions are answered even without the commentary. Its a stunningly good alpha build i must say
During the first video, the D15 is crashed head on into a cube at 65MPH but the driver area didn't take any damage. What I mean is that the dashboard didn't move towards the driver or anything. I liked the chilling music in the background and was still impressed by it all. A good selection of cars were shown too.
Not trying to be a smart ass Jeff but can you use the search bar up the top next time thanks also here's the link for the question I asked about the turn signals which you repeated. http://www.beamng.com/threads/900-Turn-Signals?highlight=turn+signals
