Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

What's probably more likely is that people are just not playing at the moment. The mod is still active.

 

It's still very active, but obviously not 24/7.
Often, it also depends on time zone.

 

Actually I have a question on server hosting - Can you host multiple instances of the server on the same host? To put it another way, is it possible to host multiple maps on the same physical server/computer concurrently?

 

You can host up to 10 servers at once.

I keep getting this error when i have the Kissmultiplayer.zip in the mods folder. It also breaks all the other mods so they dont work. Reinstalling it didn't help

 

Try deactivating the Advanced driver assistance features mod, that causes problems and conflicts.

This... has been my most recent experience. Not a problem with the mod, but the same few people constantly spawning in new vehicles and grinding the game to a halt each time. It eventually crashed the entire game.



I'm glad the mod now despawns vehicles outside a certain radius, but it still pisses me off when children like this are ruining it for others. As soon as I got anywhere near where these clowns were hanging around, the game crawled and I was crashing my car constantly as it caught up.

 

Go into the kissmp tab and into the settings one. Decrease the view distance. Then don't go near them.

whenever i put kissmp in my 0.22 mods folder and launch beamng, it doesnt show up and it shows that i have no mods in my repo, but when i remove it, i can see all of my mods.

 

You didn't install it right. Double click on the .zip and you will see another folder inside. Double click that, and you will see the actual kissmp .zip inside. Drag THAT into your mods folder. Then launch the game. Now go back to the original .zip. Navigate back to where you found the .zip inside the zip, and then double click on the windows folder. Then double click the bridge to launch it. From there, you will be connected to the KissMP network thing, and have access to the servers. Go back into the game, click on the little grey boxes with dropdown arrows. It's pretty self explanatory from there. LMK if you need pictures.

what's the point of this when BeamMP exists and it has more active players. Like why should I play this over BeamMP
