I've had no audio since the beginning of the year, several updates came, several fully clean installs, went through the usual steps beaten into people for general trouble shooting but at this point I'm defeated. I'm not sure what else to do to get audio working again, and this is the only game I'm having issues with.
In game volume sliders are up, and it doesn't matter what the voices are set on, I still have no luck. The menu has audio, and occasionally after adjusting the voices I'll get this extremely loud feedback sound after the level is loaded and then nothing. Drivers are updated, windows is up to date. I'm seriously at a loss as the game audio worked flawlessly before 0.20.
Does anything else on your computer not have audio? I’m not an expert on this stuff but I think that if you have done all that still to no avail, then there’s probably something wrong with your computer sound system itself and it might not be the game
I thought it was a hardware error as well, but BeamNG is the only game with the audio issue at hand. I even have a couple of other games running on FMOD (Just Cause 4 and both Subnauticas) and they have audio without issues.
Maybe this has been mentioned, but I've noticed that about half of the LEDs on the ambulance upfits are missing light flares. beam pls fix
I'm pretty sure this is intentional to prevent lag for people with slow PCs, lights can lag a lot for them
I don't mean the actual light being emitted, rather the flare image. I've discovered that the missing flares are visible from behind. They seem to be visible from the wrong angles. this image was taken from inside the ambulance, where the flares shouldn't be visible (vehicle is invisible for clarity, flares do the same when its visible)
A very old bug that didn't fixed for years: when you go to the grid, small, pure then press home button in the default vehicle, the vehicle um... the rotation of the car is not correct. For better understanding, spawn in grid, small, pure then stop physics, then press home
One thing that has annoyed me a bit since the new LeGran was released is that the turn signals don't normally operate at full brightness. When the headlights are turned on they reach full brightness. This doesn't make sense as the turn signals and hazard lights are an important safety feature, and should always be as visible as possible. This is the same on all vehicles that have been remastered with new taillights, but I find it most noticeable on the LeGran. ^headlights off, signal on: same brightness as when headlights on with no signal ^headlights on, signal on: full brightness
There are some stretching mesh (Model) parts on the bus, when the rear suspension detaches from the frame fully, I tried to hide different parts of the suspension to see what part it could be, but it seems it is the suspension frame or some linkages from the frame that is stretching.
Not a bug report but more of a suggestion: for the debug menu, please add an option to not display numbers for nodes that have no names. Because this is really annoying with wheels: Can you tell what is going on here? I can't.
A couple of suggestions to do with the walking camera, it'd be nice to be able to walk inside of the caravan, currently the dor is far too small and the ground collapses beneath you, in addition any stairs are a 50/50 chance of working whilst in walk mode.
