I have an issue with this. The engine, transmission and driveshaft are completely touching the floor on every model of this mod. They're not broken though. Everything still drives. To try and fix this I've gone as far as completely uninstalling and deleting all files to do with beamng, but nothing has worked so far. It's not a mod conflict as I have no mods added. Such a weird bug and I can't see that anyone else has this.
the recent beamng update added engine mounts to the d series you'll have to add them to the engine jbeam file until the mod owner updates it
i used to love this mod but now it's hard to enjoy because the engines that come with the mod just drag the ground
If it wasn't stated enough, the mod is broken. 0.22 added engine mounts to the D-Series therefore breaking it. We have to wait for the mod owner to update it, then it won't be broken.
i did not know that i'm still using the mod just using default engines thanks for getting back to me though. still new to using the forums
Ah, well welcome to the forums! Try to follow forum rules, (here they are, https://beamng.com/game/support/policies/forum-rules/) they are important.
Hey AR162B, i tested out your T-series addon mod and it was cool, recently Beamng added engine mounts for the update and the D-series addon mod needs to be updated, so if u can update the mod, i really will appericate it
Welcome to the forums! Read over all the rules, https://beamng.com/game/support/policies/forum-rules/, in which it clearly states to "avoid" or "do not" beg for things like releases, updates, etc. Let the mod owner update it when he's ready.
Well, if you want SO BADLY to use the mod engines on your truck, you can open the JBEAM of the engine that you like, and swap the nodes and beams parts with the vanilla V8 engine.
He didn't beg for an update, he just reported a bug and said the mod needs update, but some people beg for unneeded updates. For example if I say: hey, please update it and add a giant bed for D series plsss. That's beak the rules
He was not begging/asking for the mod to be updated, he simply pointed out a fault and what the mod would need to be updated.
The fault he pointed out has been stated several times already. Why point it out again? And.. Dunno about you, but "i really will appericate it" kind of states what he is asking, he's saying "I'll appreciate it" while hoping that'll catch the owner's eyes and make him update it faster.
there is actually a new bug also. it makes the frame and gas tank of the T series white. i had to uninstall and clear the cache i don't understand it myself lol but i reinstalled the mod because the oldstyle look just makes the D look so badass
