Hah, well what do you know :)

Speaking of tube amps, the best amp I ever played on so far was a friends Marshall Valvestate, never heard something better in fact.
I don't own an amp, I'm not used on playing on one. I'm often longing to play with other musicians again, in that case I'd go for the Valvestate.

I even don't really know that much about guitars and amps, I mean, not like most guitar players.

I'm using Rakkarack, an open source guitar amp and fx processor that runs on Linux. I love this setup more than any fx processor out there, don't ask me why, it sounds amazing. Maybe it has to do with the way the sampling is processed, I don't know. I never get tired of it, as I did often with 'solid' fx processors.

If you go to my mod page and open the Straight Eight video, you can hear a piece of my music recorded using Rakkarack and Audacity. It's only the first song you hear. I believe I used 3 tracks for that piece, playing only my Highway One. I actually made that piece of music to use it for BeamNG's Cinematic Clip contest last year (?) but the piece turned out just over one minute and that wasn't allowed for the contest :)

So, I'm currently trying to put together maps of the official BeamNG levels with screenshots of the Navigation app.

Even making it bigger to cover my entire screen, and even as painstaking as I can possibly be (even using the World Editor to face a car exactly north), it's an absolute pain of constantly having one little spot be one pixel off when the rest of the map is in sync. I feel like I'm on the cusp of a forum first here but I just can't quite make everything cooperate.

Today I needed to get something else off of my bucket list so I bought these Fila 84mm inline skates/roller blades.
Yep, that's me on the short vid, showing my hands after I fell 3 or 4 times and I fell 3 or 4 times after that too !

My recipe : After never having skated roller blades and 20-ish years after having skated ice skates go and buy roller blades for an advanced user and take em out for a 15km round trip without bringing shoes. Then go home and watch youtube tutorials :D

Well ehem, I should be buying wrist, knee and elbow protection along with a helmet to do this properly. I guess I will start with wrist protectors, my wrists seem to be most vulnerable when falling and I really need them to be healthy.

I am in process of rebuilding my PC with workstation hardware that can put up quite a fight against Intel's Xeon W series. The parts needed have been ordered, and I'm just waiting for them to arrive at my house now.

    Specs:
    ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE
    AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 3955X
    AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
    64 GB 3000 MHz DDR4 in 8-channel configuration (8 x 8 GB)
2 TB NVMe SSD (I plan to get several of these eventually and put them into RAID)
    1,250 W 80+ Titanium fully modular PSU

Here's what the motherboard looks like:

Wow!!! I have an ASUS WS mobo as well but that one is better than mine. Since clearly money is no object for you, have you considered taking a look at:
    https://www.onestopsystems.com/pcie-expansion
For a fraction of the cost, you can build a PC of equal or greater power compared to a top-of-the-line IBM mainframe. Someday...

It actually very much is. This build was really pushing the limits of what I could afford, but I've always wanted to do a workstation build and have server-like features on the mobo. I have that chance now and I am taking it. I compared the options I had and decided that those parts were most suitable for my use and budget of the workstation parts.
