-Update Post version- Hi ! this is my first mod , and its a european coach bus ! inspired from the Scania touring. The model has been updated 4 times ( to many XD ) and today i im here ! My project is to make 2 different model 1- 4 wheels coach bus - normal version- rv version - extended windows(on the roof) version 2- 6 wheels coach bus -same than the 3 , 4 wheels version , but in 6 wheels -Body = 95 % -Jbeam = 8 % -Textures = 0 % -interact buton = 0 % -Animated parts = 0 % The 3d is not at height quality but i done my best There is the V4 The V3 The V2 And the V1 ... ( yep that was a very low quality and a old model XD )
Okay. I also know not much about modding, but here is what i know 1. Copy the file of the Wentward DT40L into another folder. 2. Extract it. 3. Open the .dae (open blender, then click import, then .dae) 4. Look how the Wentward Parts are named and name yours similar (but instead of "bus" or whatever, take etk95 or similar) 5. Assign the textures. Thats a bit difficult tho, and i dont know how. 6. Get BeamNodeEditor and edit the Wentward Mesh to a fitting one. 7. Tweak the JBEAM files. Thats all i know, i hope i could help you
For this supposedly being your first time at 3D modeling, you're not doing too bad, altough I'd like to see a screenshot of the model from the Edit mode view. As for another thing, why is it an ETK if it doesn't share anything with Mercedes, BMW or Audi? If anything, it should be a Jargl, even if that brand name isn't officially used
Wow, this is awesome. Just to let you know, there's a dude on Instagram who has actually already made an ETK bus, however it is not on the forums. Not sure if he is planning to port it to beam
Looks good! Like @Sithhy™ said, this should probably be some sort of other name, probably not ETK due to the fact that most, if not all European luxury manufacturers don't manufacturer buses, regardless of what ETK is based off of. That's probably all the complaints I have, but overall, this looking good! Looking forward to the release!
Mercedes have, however ETK is more on the BMW side of things so I agree there. Wouldn't make loads of sense. Maybe a Wentward comeback?
