i had something similar in mind but...

 

Getting final results, with the first 2 cars done, both brand new.

Since some variants in real life are supposed to transport arrested persons, a proper interior was needed for those (tried to jbeam'd it as best as possible...not perfect at all, but it's better than nothing I guess)...the lightbar will also display the name of the police force according to reality, as seen in the two cars pics.

 

Production wise how does this make any sense- you end up with worse cargo space, and, since they clearly had to cover the wheel wells, it was originally a full four wheel chassis, which means to make it fit the rear wheels in the center would take either customization of the production chassis or production of a brand new, separate chassis (or at the very least, rear subframe, perhaps) which would certainly be more expensive?... Why does this car exist.

I have seen them here and some arent sane so they go on the left lane

 

Im also from Germany but never saw that thing before, either because i live in the smallest *Bundesland* and not been in many big Cities before or im just blind and saw 83845889435898435818290954990 of them but dont remember.
