So, everyone in Nascar that drives a Camaro will get a skin --- Post updated --- I found another Toyota Camryhttps://sketchfab.com/3d-models/toyota-camry-9fc0c9638ddc40b5a34e9ced0e02cb06
No, not skins for drivers already in the sport. You can do that if you want, anyone can, but when it's released it will not have real skins.
i have a question will this be able to blowover? you know like the aerodynamics lifts the car off the ground
Too early to tell. I'll certainly try and make it be able to, but I can't promise anything quite yet.
Update time! This time, it's long overdue. Since the beginning, I have been doing things along, getting it done as well as I could. However, longer-term things, like texturing, had yet to be done. Until now. You may have noticed that in my previous updates the thing didn't have shadows on anything except the rear bumper (!!!). How could I let that slide??? Well, I just didn't!! Introducing: material progress! There's certainly a lot more to go (specular map, material layers, skin support, etc.) but it's now being worked on. Lots has been done! Not only that, but I have tweaked the JBeam on the front end, frame, and roof (not doing sides or rear because they'll be completely redone!), and I've begun preparations for adding more components (undercarriage, interior, suspension, engine bay!) so stay tuned! (Note that the textures and UV maps of the screenshot is not final and only for testing / debugging purposes! That'll definitely be changed in the future )
Damn, this is actually happening! Awesome progress man, can't wait to see a Nascar in game, this has been needed for ages
Wow that Camry Model looks horrible. @Solarpower07, just incase if you wanna try other body's, you should definitely search for the Dump data of the Nascar heat series. Just in case obviously. Anyway, great work dude!
yeah, that's me. i tried a little more and that impala become a Charger 2012 spec, but the last update just destroyed it.
Yeah, I'll probably do that in the future. For now I'm working on only the Camaro, though the Camry and Mustang are not for sure. That would be a lot of extra work.
