Yeah I think my monitor has HDR. Most people looking at the vid probably don't have HDR (dont attack me if you do), but I used GeForce experience to take the screenshots. That might not support HDR, maybe the reason for it looking worse.
Is there any way you can change the brightness depending on the cloud count? One more question: How do you all go about a clean BeamNG install? Do you hit uninstall on steam or is it different? Asking because BeamNG still shows up in documents when I uninstall
I think it's the right way, and it isn't meant to delete your document folder, wich was btw moved to appdata in 0.22.
Is that my mod? Looks awesome Im spending less and less time on this, atleast atm, since ive got a big move coming up IRL with all the things connected to that and a bunch of other projects rolling along. Also it feels, that i've/we've talked about before, like theres graphics/rendering changes coming to BeamNG so i dont feel 'obligated' to keep this running in the same way, as much as its a test project of mine its also meant to be an option for those that think BeamNG doesnt look the way they want. Hopefully we'll get some news on that front soon but for this mod itll see less updates for a while.
Totally okay. Your mod already perfects BeamNG to the point where we don't know it can look better until you update it again. Good luck with the move
quick question, is it ok if i keep the old preset and the new presets together or do i have to delete the old preset and reset the postFx and apply AL14 then?
Update: thanks, it looks pretty good on my 900p, 10 year old acer monitor. Al13 looked a bit overexposed, al14 looks balanced and nice!
Just got another question. Say your move carries into the summer release, would you still have time to update the mod for it to work on the new game version if it breaks?
Thats a great comparison!! I would as long as my computers hooked up Ive been looking at making a generic, non-version specific mod for compatibility but itll probably not have the sharper light at mornings/evenings so im not sure if ill go that route
Looks incredible! AL shaders have not worked very well or at all for me in the past, but this is just astonishing! Amazing work Dave, I am truly impressed. --- Post updated --- Whoops, didnt mean to post that again, meant to post a video of it --- Post updated --- Also got this beautiful screenshot, I am still overly impressed with this, if this is only the beta, I am very excited for what is to come.
