Can we have the Km/l mode for fuel consumption?

As right now we have mpg (miles per gallon)
And l/100km (self explanatory)

Can we also have the Km/L type fuel consumption in the UI as well?

 

I'm curious, too.

 

I dont think its difficult to implement. plus, while you guys/girls are at it, might as well fix the craziness that the avg fuel from going to an obnoxious number while idling..

I think in Korea and generally in Asia, also NL and some other EU countries used to have it and some people still used it there I guess.

In my country we use L/km . For example 10 L/100km that it means when you drive 100 km, you used 10 liters of the fuel.

It's wired that Indians are using it in opposite (km/L). Can you make it clear like what I did?

 

It's weird here. Right hand drive, km/h, with PS(horsepower) and Nm(Newton meter) and fuel economy is calculated in Kilometer per litre.
15-20km/l is usually the avg of most cars here which is around 5l/100km..

That they are.. as most people here are hell bent on hypermileing anything and everything....

Also, underpowered engines.. yikes..
1.0l turbo engines and stuff... Efficient, yes. Fun, nope...

Unless it's an old 800cc carbureted engine or something like that, this are old school fun.

Here in Brazil we use Km/L, only having option for MPG or L/100km makes me have no idea on how fuel efficient I am being, MPG makes slightly more sense, but we don't use american units of measurement, so I have a slight idea on how long is a mile and no idea on how much is a Gallon

 

Btw a but off topic,

My 2009 Renault Logan 1.4l mpi (before timing chain failure ), for being an NA petrol, gave around 19.8km/l , the highest I've ever got out of it. Pretty cool.

A.k.a. 5.05l/100km

 

km/L is a thing? i have never heard of that
