I wouldn't be surprised if the intended backstory of JRI is something like: -used as a european settlement in the 17-1800s (fortress, broken timber/rope bridges) -used for industry in early 1900s (1931 dated tunnel, brick lighthouse/observatory/industrial buildings, etc.) -taken over by japan in WWII, (airbase, bunkers, zero fighter, etc.) -continued industry use after WWII for some time (hence armco barriers, steel/concrete bridges, concrete hotel, dam, tunnels, etc.) -abandoned some time around the 1980s -recently re-opened for tourism (roads cleared, regained electricity, perhaps using port again given the relatively good condition of containers and cranes) like I've said before, I could see the JRI chapter of the career being similar to snowrunner's gameplay, you start off with all the roads blocked, bridges collapsed, buildings non-functional, and you have to complete various missions to "repair" parts of the infrastructure, and only once that is done would the tourism and racing related missions unlock. on the debate about JRI's location, I would guess the devs themselves haven't really decided on a definite answer, given that the map is set up for RHD cars, but has hawaii license plates, two things which directly contradict each other.
I like this idea! also thanx for reminding me snowrunner exists time to spend 3 hours pulling a hummer out of a lake in alaska
This is obviously a mod, no way they would leak a vanilla map like this. Can we stop discussing stuff like this and move on to stuff that we have actual proof that it's vanilla content?
y'all really like to get on CK huh? when is the 'CK breathed, breathing confirmed for next update' post coming, not everything a dev does is related to development of the game. people got hobbies yo.
you are a robot? MORE ADVANCED SELF DRIVING VEHICLES IN BEAMNG CONFIRMED OIAWDWAHD There did it so no one else can.
Ok, so looks like we Will get the new update on Tuesday imo. Why? -0.22 came out on 29th March. Tuesday is 29th Jun. 3 months exactly -In the past if devs released a video trailer of a feature before the release of the update, then we (not always tho) had to wait 6-7 days. We got the PBR YT video on Tuesday. If you count the one week you Will get the Tuesday 29th Jun. So looks like tuesday should be good
Well, maybe you are right. But now, looks like everything matches - the dates (3 months exactly from 29th March to 29th Jun Tuesday). Also we got teaser(s) and videos about (almost?) finished contents. So why would devs wait till August?
3 months is just speculation of a new update schedule, 4 months is still the standard We got one Teaser Tuesday that was polished like a dev blog video, but maybe that's just how they want to do Teaser Tuesday vids now. The other one was an unintended leak and possibly intended for the same use.
