Update Speculation thread

I think there's something that everybody forgot to say...

considering the wigeon would be quite structurally simple, i don't think the refinement phase would take as long as something like the vivace for example.
and plus, they don't necessarily have to wait for the models to be completely done to start on the jbeam, they could do them in tandem.
I'm placing my bet on the pigeon/wigeon being included in this update,

but I'm also questioning whether the bolide remaster will be in this as well.
on one hand, it was first shown off nearly a full 12 months ago, surely even if the scope of the project has drifted, the car could have been re-made from the ground up in this time.
on the other hand, the PBR Reveal trailer did show an existing bolide with updated materials, which suggests they're likely intending to ship 0.23 with the old bolide still.
but given the minimal effort to convert a vehicle's materials over (I'd imagine just re-baking some textures in blender and recolouring some existing ones to a set standard) this could simply be a quickly cooked up stop-gap measure in case it's not done on time.
at least that's what I'm hoping.

I also think that the Widgeon is just a variant of the Pigeon. Really different, but still a variant with some common components...

Well technically it's the 6 years and a month birthday of beamng so my point stands.

 

This type of vehicle has a really long life span so the remaster will probably bring facelifted variants and some other stuff like the Widgeon

 

nadeox has publicly shown that PBR doesn't effect performance at all in another thread.

My guess is that this update gets PBR and maybe some small pigeon updates? Like textures etc?

 

Maybe the Grand Marshal receives more overhaul over the more time consuming Bolide in this update if i remember correctly the GM Remaster was released as WIP
i would love to see more land yacht content

 

I mean theres already a fair share of boaty cars
burnside, marshal, bluebuck, Moonhawk and if youre generous some of the wendovers.

 

You right of course but my guess is that there will be a massive GM overhaul with an Facelift similiar to the last gen Crown Vic.
