qa_latest has been updated almost daily for years by now. Nothing to get hyped about unless it's multiple times a day.

 

Do we have any speculation on the cheesemobile?

 

probably not coming out this update thats pretty much it

 

cheesemobile is apparently done enough for a stock D10 Zeta to be able to climb the front of it

 

mitch stated that the wigeon can be climbed on by the d10 zeta so my guess is the jbeam is almost complete and some of the configs are done

 

What does "qa" stand for anyways?

Looks like the update isn't gonna come in the next few days, but that means the wigeon will almost certainly be in 0.23.

 

I’m guessing it’ll come by mid July, so 2-3 weeks

 

Today so far qa_latest has got 8 updates, that averages to 1 update for 1 hour of working time I believe.

At least they are working quite hard, it is more updates than previous days, but this does not relate any way to number of bugs fixed or how close the update is.

If I read correctly, qa_latest started updating 11 days ago and as it is usually at least 2 weeks of qa before release, that would be end of the week by earliest, could be even next week.

 

I suspect that QA will take longer than average this update just due to how major the changes are, which I'm assuming has lead to a lot more bugs as a result.

 

Yes and also presumed Linux version being probably really unknown ground for team to deal with, there is lot of learning happening as with all new stuff for everyone.



Also steamdb is probably cutting out earlier updates as qa_latest probably has been updating lot before, however as amount of updates per day is now quite high, it might have some indication.
I did try to count num updates / day and today was highest activity unless I missed something there.

 

God this thread, how bout a little game the first one to reply to this thread before the update is posted has to delete his beamng and never play it again
