Question about materials.json for a skin

    Hello,
    Sorry if this is a repeated topic but I'm trying to create a new materials.json file for a skin I made in 0.22. I previously used a .cs file but that stopped working after the 0.23 update.

    I've looked over the attached files a few times but it doesn't load anything when the skin is selected in Beam. The console doesn't show any errors with these files either.

    Did I make any syntax errors in the attached files? Let me know if any more information is needed. Thanks.

    CS files still work for me personally, so maybe it's rather a mod conflict problem?

    I don't think that's the issue since I disabled all other mods while testing. Do you know if any settings need to be changed to designate a .json vs a .cs file or can the interpreter tell automatically?

    Just checked and you don't have any reference to your dds file in the materials file, the materials are the same as without the skin, so obviously nothing changes.

    Ahhh, of course. I left out baseColorMap from stage 1. I'll try that after work and get back to you.

    So I re-did the materials.json with proper references and it works now. Basically I lifted the polizei section from skins.materials.json in the core files.

    Anyway, thanks for the help.
