200bx best track car change my mind looks epic if you need a hand with model(s) let me know, my work can be seen here> https://www.cgtrader.com/isx15
I have noticed this and did improve it marginally. --- Post updated --- Contact me on Discord @13Stewartc#9365 We can discuss working together there!
Here's a list for you all regarding the latest changes to the mod 1. New configuration (Author™) 2. New Unibody (Author™) (1) 3. Fixed a bug with ALL the custom radiator fans. (Their reference nodes were the engine and not the chassis, so they'd torque with the engine, very ugly visual bug) 4. Misc jbeam cleanup. 5. Misc materials.json cleanup. 6. Removed the replacement coupe.dae (apparently that's a big no-no so its gone JBeam replacements to follow) (1) The Author™ Configuration is a play on words. Author™ is a company within the BeamNG.drive universe that creates custom cars. The 200BX configuration is represented as such too. But to add to this, since i'm the author of the mod, the name of the configuration makes sense since the car is built for my personal taste. I also go on to talk about some bugs that have been fixed as well as the huge task I am about to take on to get this mod release-ready! Video explains it below.
Yes actually! Me and him are currently planning a small colab with this and i made these alternative front lights: Some lore for them as well: They are actually the lights of the next generation 200bx swapped onto this generation of the b chassis and thus fit perfectly as an aftermarket front end swap
Now that the PBR update has been released I'm working on the 200BX mod again. I have well over 20 materials to convert to PBR. I have been dreading this since PBR was announced. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. (I am fine with the PBR workflow, but less fine with fixing stuff I already completed, especially since the stuff I added originally I did very messily because I was a beginner and had no clue what I was doing, this means texture names are not at all what they should be and make going back and fixing everything very confusing, planning to just completely re-do them instead of just updating existing, this way I can fix everything I did wrong and just generally clean it all up quite a bit.) A plus about the PBR update now though is I can sorta preview all my new textures with Blenders BSDF shader (which uses the base, metallic, roughness system as PBR) hopefully this proves to be easier for creating textures that look correct / how I want them to, got to do a lot of experimenting within the next few days so please bare with me regarding slow / next to no posts here
Gonna keep ya'll updated as i progress through the nightmare that is upgrading all the old Remastered 200BX materials to the new ones. Progress so far: CR20 Engine Material CR20 Paintable Cam Cover: (Working with all paint layers) And finally the Bolide V8 material (coupe_super) Its been a frustrating at-times but all in all worth it process. Hope you guys think it looks good. New to this material workflow so there's probably a lot I can do to improve the looks of my materials (I have like 10+ more materials to convert so I have plenty of time to learn ) --- Post updated --- Ute version isn't planned just yet, but maybe in the future, we'll see.
A 4-door Sedan and Wagon body will be planned? And about PBR Update, what will ya do? Could i suggest you these wheels too?
Sedan - Not Currently Planned Wagon - Not Currently Planned PBR Update - I am currently updating all of my materials from the original Diffuse / Spec / Bump Shader setup to PBR, results of which I have shown above (Bolide V8, CR20) I appreciate the wheels suggestion, they look nice, maybe if I get bored and have nothing else to do. As far as their actual use goes, there's not really one. So far I've only been adding parts that I intend to use in some way on a configuration (There are a few additional parts though). The first wheels also look rather similar to existing wheels available for the 200BX also. But, we'll see, not making any promises
Type-S Wheels now use PBR materials Remastered/optimized the textures / materials completely as well.
