Interior detail! The interior parts are combined and separated into 4 different pieces, basically game-ready.
I'm watching this thread and the Wendover Stock Car thread very closely. This is truly an amazing thing you're cooking up here! If you'd like, I can show this off in a video or live stream when it's out.
Looks very very nice but i'd like to point out that NASCAR stock cars stopped using that interior net on the right side in the late 2000's before the COT came out. That net was only really present in the gen 4 era.
Good to know! I'll fix that in the model, thanks. All mistakes and inaccuracies pointed out are appreciated! Also, I don't have pics rn, but I have added in the interior in-game apart from the seat (although not stable yet!), the fuel cell is in and can catch fire fairly easily (only because I haven't implemented the fuel cell support in yet! That'll make it much stronger!) and am working on fixing some instabilities. The other thing done today is some camera views, I have the tv camera (on the roof) and driver camera somewhat in, though they jitter too much for my liking atm. Lastly, if you looked closely at my most recent screenshots, you'd have noticed that the undercarriage is in! Lots of time and effort has gone into it recently (heck, last night I worked on it until 2 am!) because this is such a fun project to work on. Hope you enjoy!
Well, I mean I did watch the NASCAR Truck mod by Matty1080 for around 6 months a few years ago, technically I will have been watching that for 3 years now if you count all the years it's been on hold. It takes a lot of time and patience for mods to be completed.
This is certainly going to be quite hype worthy once complete. It's a shame that the truck was never finished but who knows what the situation behind that is. I have to say though, this is seeing some very quick progress so far. Great work!
Yeah, it started mid-late 2017 and I began watching it early 2018, but it's been on hold since around late 2018 or so
Last year Inertia started getting work done. Showed some damage pictures, and a video of it driving. But I haven't heard anything about the truck in.... maybe 10 months. It seems as if so many NASCAR mods either don't get completed or we don't hear from the authors anymore. I have a good feeling about this mod though
