Hi, I'm back from a long hiatus, however, from my practice and time spent off, I've been using blender more and more, and learnt new techniques. Previously I attempted to make a 240z, and failed, which I apologise for, because people were excited for, but I failed to deliver. This time, I'm spending the time, and making very fast progress on the 3d Model for a Datsun/Nissan 240z. Previously, I had mentioned about creating additional models such as: Rally Widebody Rotsun G-nose Headlight cover However this time around, I'll put these aside and focus on just making the car. I will require additional assistance with J-Beam and interior modelling, as well as engine help, however, the 200BX engine should suffice. Pictures provided below of the model, at the moment at where it is. Exterior - 60-70% Interior - 0% Chassis - 0% Wheels - 0% Shading/Colour (Not sure how it works when going from Bender to BeamNG) Any and all help is appreciated! !LATEST UPDATE! Edit/Update : 11 (27/10/2021) I can't do this, something personal has happened again, but this time, it hurt a lot. I'm quitting this project, however I'm leaving the files that have been used, and if someone else wants to pick this up, just be sure to credit that you got the file from here at least. Spoiler: Updates/Edits Edit : (21/07/2021) Didn't want to necro-post, hence why the new thread, and because this is an entirely new model with different techniques used. Edit 2 : (21/07/2021) I remeshed the car and made it minecrafty, also RS Watanabe's Definitely not keeping this though. Edit 3 : (21/07/2021) RS Watanabe's looking pretty good, could've redone the nuts to look much better, but for now it works, and it's not going to be super noticeable. Picture below. Edit 4 : (21/07/2021) G-nose and headlight cover is absolutely on my list to do. Edits will also be happening less often, however I will still be doing updates Edit/Update 5 : (22/07/2021) Car progress is looking much better, RS Watanabe's need to be cleaned up especially on the nuts holding them in, some trim added around front windscreen, windows are slowly being cleaned up and the vertex's being moved to accommodate the door. Preview of the rear, may need to be redone as I'm not satisfied with the look, same with the front. Image of front below : Image of rear below : Edit/Update 6 : (23/07/2021) Windows and window trim have been completed, lights have been touched up a bit more, and the overall body was made to be smoother, progress has been coming along nicely! Appropriate cuts have been made into the body work of the car, because, well it's body work, not the chassis! Edit/Update 7 : (25/07/2021) Test fitting the body, onto the 200BX, fits pretty nicely! Edit/Update 8 : (25/07/2021) Combined 200BX suspension setup, with the Miramar's engine. Better picture of the 240z model aswell. Edit/Update 9 : (28/7/2021) Something personal happened, and I don't know if I can keep doing this, things have become dicey, and I just have no motivation at all. I'm sorry. It'll be put on hold until I can drag myself to do something again. Edit/Update : 10 (22/8/2021) I'm back! Time to get this thing done! No worries I've never worked with textures in BeamNG but I think we'll be able to figure it out. Anything related to Photoshop won't be a problem at all.
I am not a fan of the mesh quality. On the first screenshot it looks like something out of Terraria, but most importantly, there are areas on the car that look like they were filled-in randomly; mainly the headlight housing. Looking at the front wheel arch edges, they have a not-so-smooth curve to them. I'd suggest to try to make the mesh better, as of right now it look odd in the places I mentioned
Ah, right the first thumbnail image was me messing around with remesh, because idk it looked kinda funny, the rest I will try to fix! For now I've updated the edits list! edit : Check the date and order of each edit, because the most recent photo is what it looks like currently, hence why it's dated.
Once this comes out it should be up there with those good mods. But that's if it get released hopefully. Other wise keep going and I wish you all the luck on this project.

I will do! --- Post updated --- I'll do some research and find if it's a pre-existing bodykit. If it is, then yeah, if it isn't and it's just a tune i'll see what I can do.
