So yeah. My little (12 year old) brother was playing some fortnite and i thought he was playing FH4 bc the whiplash he was driving sounded like the huracan FROM FORZA HORIZON 4 BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME SOUNDS and
who would have thought that a sports car needs to have sounds recorded from some kind of real life sports car? wait until you hear about how beamng stole gran turismo's subaru engine sound for the SBR!
bruh like i cant even. logic.exe has stopped responding. --- Post updated --- also wtf is the deal with freaking fortnight still sounding better than forza? like motorsport 5-6 and horizon 2 sounded good but horizon 3 and newer makes my ears sad.
Ohh no, you have made the sound guy cry, Now the head honcho is coming for your ears, there is no running, there is no hiding. Your ears are doomed. lol jk kjaseiourhtiuwhoiuwehqoirhwgdfnmxcbjkgf
It's like saying you stole Windows. Sounds get licensed and many games can use same sounds. In movies, there are some less popular scifi movies which use scenes from Starwars and Last Starfighter, not a steal, but licensed content, despite what some pages at the internet try to make it appear.
With regards to older films, there were only a few sound effect libraries around back then, so everyone who wasn't out recording their own source material was using the same sounds from the same sound libraries. I've had the same comments with some music I've written in the past, especially the Duke Nukem Total Meltdown soundtrack where I used a sample CD which became very popular so everyone was using the same sounds in different pieces of music.
