Hey everyone, newcomer to 3D modelling here! I'm working on creating a BMW E36 (1990-2000) right now, but with my knowledge of modelling (or rather the lack of it) it could take a while for this to get anywhere. Current Progress: Exterior: 15% Interior: 0% JBeam: 0% Textures: 0% Planned Configs: Sport (M3) Track Rally Drift Any help is welcome and appreciated! (Will most likely need help with JBeam because I don't know how that works) Update 23/07: Hood is finished, now working on the front bumper.
I think you should make the thread when you have a lot of progress already, like the model is almost finished or it's already ingame.
Forgot to tell you that- the hood seem too much highpoly, like 2 times too much. I'd suggest to take a look at an official beamng car to see the size of everything.
I think you must at least have the model in-game to create a thread for the mod, you should create one only for help and recreate this thread when you got it in-game.
Ohhh I literally asked for one of these ages back, cause I don't want to go onto dodgy sites, ill be watching this thread with eagarly. E36's are one of my favourite cars. thank you for taking the time to work on this! and best of luck with creating it. despite it not being "ready" for a thread its still cool to see!

Don't worry continue. Nothing to worry about. I was also like u. I just thought that I should recreate the dodge viper mod and ended up deleting the thread.
not bad considering you're new to this! The bonnet is a lil high-poly though and i think youre meant to start a thread for stuff when you get parts in-game. Gj tho!
