Well it took a little while but I got this down. I wanted to make a supercar type hatchback á la the Ferrari FF, except that my hood turned out to be a little shorter. Nevertheless, It makes a cool looking car and I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I call it the "Serenessa PV01" (name based on the Serenissima which used to be a real car btw).

We all know the ETK K-Series, Beam's lovable Z4/SL-esque sports tourer. But what are some other notable ETK sports cars that led up to it? Here's some quick sketches I made of what they could have been:
    upload_2021-7-27_23-2-59.png
The first road car in its lineage was the KL50, produced in low numbers from 1956-57. "KL" being "Kompressor Leicht." The KL50 was sold at a loss at the time but worth a cool million or more today. Based on the Mercedes 300SL and BMW 507.

Later on came the KL70. More slab-sided than before. Later models were condemned for their US-reg bumpers. Based on the Pagoda SLs I guess. More of a tourer than a sports car like its predecessor, also had a removable hardtop.

In the late '80s ETK was interested in getting back in the small sports car game, and eventually made the K-1. An odd little car with unique styling and butterfly doors. Based on the Z1 with a bit of the R129 SL.

Finally settling into a steady seller, the K-2 was everything the K-1 wanted to be. Affordable-ish and peppy, ETK enjoyed good sales for a while. Produced from 1998 through 2004, when it was replaced with the first-gen K-series. They gained the stigma of "hairdresser car" somewhere along the way but don't let that discourage you. Based on the Z3 and SLK.

Once the new millennium hit, ETK was ready for a halo car. Leaning into their heritage, they let the original KL50 be the basis for it, coming to fruition as the K-50. Exceptionally powerful, but usable and comfortable as well. Active aero, plenty of vents, and the exhausts that come out the sides of the back bumper remind the driver what an insane car it is though. Only a few hundred were produced and their values are skyrocketing today. This is the one I had the most fun with, basically "What if the BMW Z8 was mixed with the SLR McLaren, and also it's an ETK?"

I've been drawing out what I'd imagine the other Moonhawks would look like in my perspective, and right now this is what I have.

(Also I couldn't find a good enough front image to base my next gen Moonhawk on, so that's why the angle is off there.)
Basically I was mainly inspired for 2/3 of the cars by the Oldsmobile 442 (the other was mainly on the Grand LeMans), not to mention the whole trim-turned-independent-model concept which I gave a placeholder name for where it would have originated from. I'm thinking of possibly doing a 2000s model mainly like the GTO as the wrap up for my Moonhawk timeline.
