The ETK A-series gen 1 was produced by the German automotive manufacturer ETK since 1980, it was an instant success in german and export markets. The original gen 1 A-series was a front-engined, front wheel drive vehicle targeted at working class of the people.

This mod was a collaboration between me and @waboll back in 2019, ive decided to revive the mod and planning to improve on it (chisai story) as the time goes on. Please note that this vehicle is only inspired by vw golf and it doesnt try to be one.

Okay, so, overall this mod is pretty nice, but there are some bugs, from my experience only with engines.
So, the 1.6 makes less power with changed long block than with stock, pics below:






Same goes for 1.3 and 1.8
Also, I feel like 1.6 and 1.8 make a little too low power stock, 54hp for a 1.6 engine is a bit low, it seems even lower for 1.8 dohc engine to be 61hp.

 

Will it be with rally config?

-------- Small Bug Report List From What I Have Found ---------

Some spiking going on with side impacts
- happens on the other side too, when impacting against a wall or whatever, the opposite door frame spikes outwards.

- an image of the impacted side (minor spikes)
- another angle of the impacted side to potentially help with what it is thats causing the spiking
- obviously not built for big impacts but thought it would be a good idea to mention the minor spikes incase you have plans to fix them.
- some more spiking

Maybe add a front lip? Maybe add a Forged Motorsports bodykit, maybe rocket bunny?

tuning isnt the top priority now, but i have some plans for it

 

Do you plan on adding any diesel / turbo diesel engines or a 5 door body?

 

Just a couple of things that I've found:

1, The side skirts are pretty jank. Yanking any of the nodes that belong to the skirts makes them either the mesh disappear, or the mesh spike.
2: When crushing it topside as I did in the clip, the rear pretty much makes a sadface.
3: In the picture, the oil tank (At least I think that's what it is) clips through the right headlight.
4: In the same picture, the bit in the front that holds the front bumper, I feel like there should be a way to remove that makes a stripped-out/junkyard build look weird in my opinion. Yes, I know the UV isn't even finished, but for the future where a rusty/dirty skin is available, being able to remove this would seriously help.

Oh, by the way, is a Cabrio version planned? I know that plenty of people would love one.

Yo this is REALLY nice, best new mod in a while. Would love to see more compacts in game, getting sick of the covet. Very good quality.

 

It's really nice to have a new mod car. Deformation needs some work with he spiking as pointed out already I'm sure it'll be sorted soon, but I'm liking the direction of the project.
