Razer Game Booster does seem to have an actual effect because it shuts down background processes (not that my dad likes it, one of the processes it shuts down allows you to use printers in a network. Computer that runs the network+program that shuts down printers=not good). On my old computer it gave me around 5 more FPS in BNG, though it's not quite as effective on my new laptop.

Thats all it does though, close tasks and change priorities. I can do that myself.

Yeah. My only reasoning is 1) laziness and 2) it has a decent screencapture and it's free

Are we ignoring the fact that Razer/iobit Game Booster itself is a process that has no reason to be running, thus slowing its own performance down?

It's a nearly useless placebo tool for people who are desperate enough to download it. That's the only reason why it's so popular.

1 core is used for that moonhawk

and Task Manager measures all cores

100/8=12.5 which is close to around 12% to 13%
