Lucky I get 5-8fps for about half an hour and then beamng crashes so I just use this map with no cars
Awesome map bro! Finally a decent demo derby map! I love it! Demo derbies are so much fun! Although having 5 cars on screen at once makes the usual 60+ fps drop to around 20-35, but that's ok, I'm having a lot of fun on the map! The only other 2 problems are the cars getting stuck in each other, and at the start of the derby some of the cars reverse and gets stuck in the trees and stuff, but it's ok, I just keep resetting it until the AI works, then it's a ton of fun!
What are your system specs? I run this map with 3 cars and get 15-20fps no problem, and that's on a laptop. Im running an A10 @ 2.1ghz with 12gb of ram.
My specs are: Intel pentium dual core @2.9ghz 4gb 1333mhz Ram Intel HD graphics MSI h67 mainboard I built the system myself but didn't have enough money to get anything better (I am saving up for a gpu at the mo)
Thanks for the arena, but I must ask if you could find it in your heart to make at least one, possibly a couple realistic arenas with the graded mud, not the sink holes, and make them pretty flat. You could use steep dirt banks to keep the ai in the track. I know I'm demanding, but I just keep getting more excited lol. If you can't do this, or don't want to, it's no biggie.
