The bonnet seems a bit too flat. It might look better if it's a bit taller. Same for the bed. Other than that nice model.
The hood is actually quite detailed, it doesn't show up in the render very well with environment lighting. Not quite sure what you mean with the bed, it's very similar to a standard late 80's Ford 250. If you mean the inside of the bed, that will all be a texture, as done with official vehicle's in BeamNG Here's a render without environment lighting:
The side of the truck is way too flat, you should bow the fenders door and bed outwards. Also the cab of the truck is too short and the top of the doors should lean towards the center not vertical.
Working on a new map. Probably the 4th one. I think this one's actually gonna get released, and not deleted because I quitted or something. Small town Airport (It's probably gonna have trash/scrap on the runway, because the map's too small to fly.) There's still some more stuff I'm gonna work on, like a gas station for example. I'll post more screens soon.
The modeling is wonderful, and old supercars are uber nice Also, Happy 8/6 Day for you Americans Hopefully 8/6 day for normal dates will be more rewarding...
I feel satisfied watching at this. [webm=]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42990436/Screens/BeamNG/DEV/BOUNCE.webm[/webm]
Some more progress, still a lot of work to do, but it already flies great and it's completely usable. I am still amazed by the versatility of the BeamNG physics engine. And yeah, the plane moves thanks to the spinning propeller, and color selection works fine. Interior to be done as-well as a lot of external details, and the jbeam requires some improvements, atm it crashes like shit . (Sorry if the video is too long ) And I would also like to recommend you to watch this other video I've recently found which has really motivated me to continue with this project, it's pretty amazing : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOFsfMY7IPc
So, today I built this Mobile Impact Cart to be used in my IIHS/EuroNCAP-Like videos to simulate Side and Rear end impacts. It's not as wobbly (axles mainly, the body is quite rigid) as it was some hours ago, but it still need some finetuning. The frontal cement block (which I need to replace with a metal block, or perhaps with different kinds barrier) weights around 450Kg + The 550Kg of the cart itself. Pigeon smashed between a cement block and the cart going at 50KMH Doesn't look much safe.
Time to show what I've been working on Its an old truck based off the Peterbilt 281. Still lots of work to do (finish interior, front suspension) and lots of tweaking and fixing for the mesh. This is probably my 3rd or 4th model I have made from scratch. I'm still learning the process of modeling, so there is probably a few mistakes/errors in the mesh. I hope you all like it
Noooo, your bringing back too many memories from RoR:'( oh what a good game it was. Well, what a good game it is. People would always make"crash testing" videos similar to yours.
