Such a awesome model great work and I would love to have this car in my game when its done very retro and cool.
Rat Rods beat all of the piece of shit tuners out there with fart cans that all these new age teens are so proud to drive
To each their own. People hold different opinions and preferences for different reasons. You might see ratrods as rolling history coupled with raw power and 'soul', but others might see them as unsafe piles of rusted out junk held together by swollen wood, willpower, and a liberal application of loc-tite and tin solder.
Everyone has different views, but I would get a japanese car over a rat rod any day. I love rat rods, but they're not practical. Of course I also hate those ricers, they're just ruined piles of crap for me. My point is, I would rather get a normal car that has not been tuned (if, then very slightly, with maybe a better engine, ofcourse I'd still get a quiet muffler, I hate those people who drive around without a muffler) over some kind of ridiculously tuned ricer or a rat rod.
Kinda with you I think. If I want to mod a car, its for performance. Ricers are all show and no go, the mufflers are more bark than bite. I want a car thats all go without any show and if its going to be noisey its going to be from raw power rather than from bolting a megaphone onto the back of the car
Those parts all laid out like that is one of the finest renders I have ever seen...not the quality of the render, but just an awesome way to display all the parts individually. Looks like someone took the car apart and laid it all out, very cool hows progress going?
They will, expect the door handles Thanks, that what I was aiming for Progress is quite good, its all small tweaks and mesh cleaning at the moment so when some real visual changes come around I'll put up some pictures. Should be in the next few days.
I don't know if you know this or not, but the corner plastic pieces by the taillights are actually part of the taillight housing. I'm really liking the way this car is turning out!
YES!! thanks a million for that I've been wondering how it goes together for ages and that makes so much more sense as to the small body line on the rear, nice find. Well its defiantly going to be available with a 351 Windsor v8 so I may as well include the 302 as well as there are only 2 engine options.
Sorry for OT And you had the nerve to make 9000000 alt accounts. Sweet jesus, all the "BANNED!" under usernames along with "Duplicate account of user AwesomeSauce".
I've been busy with a lot of other things so not much major progress has happened however i have managed to get in imported as a static model, just to see the shading in game. i'm super happy with the wheels :3
Looks great! You've done a great job on this. Can't wait to drive it on East Coast map and drift it around sharp corners like in 80's car chases, hehe!
Oh my GOD those hubcaps!!! Incredible. How did you manage that level of detail on the spokes without an insane poly count? I'm very new to 3D modeling, so maybe that's a retarded question... Definitely looking forward to this. Thanks for all your hard work, mate!
