.exe file corrupted

    i've downloaded the 0.3.1 installer, run it and when i run the exe file it comes up with "the file is corrupted and unreadable". Please help!

    You need to disable your antivirus because a good many sense false positives. If it is norton or mcafee uninstall it and get another one like AVG.

    Uninstall you anti virus and redownload the installer

    You should not have uninstalled that is very risky. I'd just run with the new updater reinstall your antivirus and disable your firewall

    same problem happens and if I run the installer, it says a file is in use even though i'm not using it

    That error only ever happens if some sort of antivirus is scanning the file. Its not just the firewall that needs disabling, you are best off disabling the entire antivirus.
