You can put it in your game's user folder, in the mods folder. Look for "how to install Beamng mods" on Google you'll find
I wonder why only some mods have this issue that you have to delete some random folders after updates or else they won't work? As far as I'm aware most mods on the repo don't have this problem, is it something with the models and textures imported from other games?
It only happen to people that installed the old gallardo version This is because the game put into cache some files for vehicles and since the new gallardo (the one from this thread) has the exact same internal name, the game thinks it can still use the same cached files. And they are located in both cache (temp) and vehicles folder, hence why clearing the cache doesn't fix the issue
So the old version was just badly made, because the game shouldn't create any cache files outside of the cache folders
It's very nice mod but i have one comment. I had a chance to drive such a lamborghini from the beginning of production and I paid attention to very slow work of semi-automatic transmission. When I was driving around 60 km/h in 4th gear and I pressed the gas to the end, the gearbox needed a good few seconds to reduce first to 3rd gear then to 2nd. The gearbox in this mod works more like a dual-clutch transmission, not like a single-clutch automatic where you can feel the pause in acceleration with each shift. And I found one more bug in the form of rear brake lights glow yellow. Other than that, the mod is brilliant, the sound when starting the engine is very realistic

I did something like this quickly today. I think it resembles the work quite closely to what I had the opportunity to see when driving the gallardo. There is some room for improvement, especially when driving with the gas pedal halfway down, but I don't have time for that today.
