Check attachments for link. If you experience any material issues, please mention them.

This map isn't really much of a map. The only reason I made it was to test how sims 3's smooth tool would work for torque's terrain.
Since my heightmap turned out being rather enjoyable to drive around, I tossed some textures on it and gave it a name, "Potato." I'm also calling it "race island test" because it provides a smooth enough surface for a race track.

Also, due to the simplicity of this map, it should run on just about anything.

credits - Photoshop, Gimp, Sims 3 Create A World tool, World Machine, Cg textures, a rusty barrel, and Blender.

Here are some pictures of this little map.

Hm, I forgot to turn off the speedo.

I've had some fun racing and drifting around the track in the covet rally, it's a fun track. :) The fact the it was made with a sims 3 world editor made me laugh. :)

You are not potato so you can not approve of this on my part. :p
    Downloading now.
    Potato approves so far, though.
Tried it out. This map gets the potato stamp of approval.

    It broke my textures.
All cars' wheels and license plates have no textures anymore. :|
    How do I fix this.

That's strange. None of the material.cs in a world other than the world loaded should affect anything. I did leave a bit of text in the material.cs for the skid marks, though. That might be it. Maybe it caused a conflict between it and some other modded file.

Running the cleanup.bat should fix your problem.

If running cleanup.bat doesn't fix your problem, you will probably need to delete the material.cs files relating to tires and force the updater to replace things. When I'm back at my computer in Kentucky and not on my sister's laptop, I will be able to describe this process more clearly.

It needs a lot of things, like buildings, trees, fences, and countless other things. Since this map was just a test for making a smooth road, though, it unfortunately won't ever get any of these things. However, my future maps will have sooth roads like this one.

    Interesting resemblance.

Yeah, it's funny how Sims 3 has such a nice road grading tool.

Great level for experimentation. Reminds me of reclaimed land ready to be made into a park or something.

I really like the way that this is an open track and doesn't have any trees! Less = more :)

Nice simple circuit for hot laps, with enough elevation changes and blind turns to keep things interesting. Reminds me of one of the tracks I've seen used on one of the car shows to demonstrate the performance of the cars, with the same kind of sweeping turns through what is basically a grass plain. Might be Anglesey Circuit on Fifth Gear, but I can't remember for certain.
