I think you should just fix it and see what it is like when the engine is good before messing with the car. A Godzilla swap means new engine, trans, maybe even frame reinforcements because of how much more powerful that engine is compared to anything it came with. If you still want higher performance after it runs well, there is always parts or getting the stock engine parts that upped it to 260hp in '99, as the car was actually built for that... ;)

Meh, the Godzilla is smaller dimensionally than the 2-valve 4.6 that's in it. I'd imagine it's lighter, too. I know of people who Coyote swap these cars with minimal modifications.

    Whatever, not my car.

The awesome thing about custom modifications is the custom problems that result.

Not personally because I don't work on modded cars.
Seen it plenty on my friends cars though. Custom engine tunes, exhaust, suspension, bodywork all causing dumb problems.

Bought myself a new toy. Coleman CT200-U EX. 196cc "Gualing Schenzen Scrap Metal Recycling Co., Ltd." Honda clone engine that I will be drilling the jet on. Probably going to do a full stage one (minus exhaust) with valve springs and a billet flywheel to go along with the planned governor delete. Should be about 9hp when I'm done. That'll move my fat ass around nicely.

    I still have a 420cc Clone engine that's waiting for a go-kart. Soon.

    Well...

    upload_2021-8-20_0-57-35.png

That didn't take long. Just have to get a flywheel.

I'm also swapping out the 6HP/8ft-lb Hisun 196cc engine for a Kohler SH265 6.5HP/11ft-lb engine I have just laying around. So my original estimate of 9hp is even easier since the Kohler engine is just better made, and it'll be more torquey.

I'm going to die riding this thing I can feel it.

Oh boy, so you all may or may not know that I made rants against anti-maskers on here last year. This year, we've now got people who don't wanna take the COVID vaccine. I get that they technically have the right not to get it, but dying patients on COVID hospital beds this year said explicitly that they should've gotten the COVID vaccine.

Of course, we're still dealing with anti-maskers and obviously the "I WANT MY FREEDOM!1!!!!" people. This is not meant to be political and people of various different views have gotten the vaccine.

I would absolutely love to hear counter-arguments to this. I've been fully vaccinated, btw.

DISCLAIMER: I would love to once again, hear feedback from all sides of this.

One of the biggest arguments against forcing vaccines on people is religious. Every current COVID vaccine either has used cells from fetal cell lines (these are cells that are not taken from aborted babies, but rather cells taken from the laboratory reproduction of said cells) in testing or production. These cells are used for testing mRNA vaccines, including every mRNA COVID vaccine, and were even used for proof of concept regarding mRNA vaccines before COVID was an issue. Additionally, Johnson & Johnson currently uses cells from fetal cell lines in the actual production of their vaccine. The largest reason many people will not take them is that most Christians (and indeed some other religions) believe abortion is a form of murder, and for one to accept something that lets them benefit from the murder makes them morally complicit, even if they did not actually murder anyone. I do not say this to accuse anyone, as everyone's faith is their own, but this is how some feel about it.

The second largest reason is the side effects and the way it is being pushed. This one, unlike the previous reason, may only apply to the US, but I do not know as I live in ECUSA. Many people have already had COVID, and therefore have much lower risks, or have community based immunity, and therefore have much lower risks. Most scientists and companies prefer to ignore these people as if their preexisting immunity does not and cannot exist, saying that vaccines are the only thing allowed, rather than proof of immunity through antibody tests. This has greatly impacted many people, such as hospital workers, some of whom have been fired for not taking the vaccine, even after providing proof of antibodies. Houston Methodist Hospital, for example, fired 153 of their employees, including one who has gone on the record saying that she provided proof of antibodies a week before the vaccine deadline, but this proof of immunity was not good enough for them*. People who have already had COVID have the worst reaction to the vaccine as well, often being bedridden for up to a week. Combine this pushiness with the US' previous professional and government endorsed medical blunders, such as the Tuskegee experiments, and many wonder how safe or effective the vaccines actually are. The benefits no longer outweigh the side effects.

REPORTER: Houston Methodist hospital requiring all staff members to get vaccinated for COVID-19 or be fired

NURSE JENNIFER BRIDGES: Right off the bat, I pretty much decided I was not going to do it. Everybody in America should have the right to decide what they put in their body.

REPORTER: Jennifer Bridges has worked at Houston Methodist- in Baytown- more than 6 years.

NURSE JENNIFER BRIDGES: I planned on staying with Methodist the rest of my life.

REPORTER: She spent the last year and a half treating coronavirus patients- and even got sick herself.

NURSE JENNIFER BRIDGES: I just had an antibody test a week ago, but it doesn't count for them. It doesn't work.

REPORTER: more than a hundred co-workers have joined Jennifer with this lawsuit against the hospital. It claims methodist is forcing its employees to be human guinea pigs.

    (from here)

Other arguments may differ, and if anyone believes that COVID puts them in personal danger, I encourage them to take any precautions they deem necessary, as I do not want anyone to die. Having said that, I cannot endorse forcing things on others for the two reasons listed above.

Oh, and by the way, I WANT MY FREEDOM!1!!!! ;)

To be fair, I do support you having your freedom. Yes, you do have the legal right not to get the vaccine, and if you absolutely don't want to. You don't have to. There are people who actually cannot get the vaccine. So yeah, you can't force it on everyone. Btw, I know somebody who's a Christian and against abortion and still got the vaccine.

Anyways, thanks for responding. Glad I got to hear a counterargument like I requested :)

I tested positive for COVID 3 months ago. It made me feel like shit for a couple days but it passed pretty quick.
I got the first dose of Pfizer a month ago. It made me ill, almost as bad as COVID itself, and the soreness at the injection site made it difficult to bathe myself for a few days. I skipped my 2nd shot appointment. Fuck that.
Maybe I'm ignorant? Or selfish? Or a whiny baby? Oh well.

This is true, but the risk of infection still goes down with vaccination.

It also seems like there's some truth to this, but I wasn't able to find anything about the bedridden part to that extreme. I'm fairly confident that I've had covid and am also fully vaccinated- I had a sore arm after the first dose and felt bad after the second one, spending part of my day in bed. The next day though, I felt fine. Different people have different experiences, of course, so I'm only able to speak for myself.

Why? Plenty of clinical studies have pointed to their safety and effectiveness. I am infinitely more trusting in agencies such as the CDC and clinical trials than I am in Facebook posts.

This is really what I disagree with most. The side effects for myself and those around me really haven't been severe. They can be a hassle, sure, but not a big deal. Certainly not a big deal compared to what covid can do to you.

People dying is bad, people. Just get vaccinated.
