When I see something that I'll hit on the mower I just stop and pick it up.

I would do that, but the cub has so many safety interlocks. If you wanna get off of it you have to turn the blades off and set the parking brake. Too much trouble.
If I'm on the ford I just do what you do because I've cut all the sensors lel.

Gonna install Windows 8.1 64 bit version now so I can use all my RAM. Already made a backup of what I needed to. I hope I don't screw up! :p

If I wanted to cut those safeties I could probably just disable the seat sensor so it always thinks I'm sitting on it. (I have to set the parking brake and turn off the blade when I get off it.)

I just turn the key one click to the left every time I start it so there's no reverse safety. (On our neighbor's mower you had to hold a button while reversing with the blade on.)

idk what mowers you guys are using, but my grandparents ride on mower doesn't have any of this stuff (other then it will shut itself off as soon as you get off, or it should anyway, i've never actually tested that)

and then my mower for at my house is just a gas powered push mower

We have a ride-on mower which although new this year doesnt have even half the safety interlocks those guys have (you can get off the seat no problem). Then we have a 4 stroke push mower too for the bits the ride on can't get at. Then we have a 2 stroke weed whacker, then we have a mains powered weed whacker and finally a battery powered mini weed whacker and the last 2 are utterly terrible.

Tomorrow I'll get the video camera out and you'll see why you don't want push equipment when dealing with our garden unless you want to be here until next wednesday

Ours is an old Weed Eater riding mower. No idea what model. It's pretty old but it still new enough to have all those safeties.

    Looks like this one:

Before anyone accuses me of being some kinda bellend, if you add me as a friend on steam and I don't accept then chances are its because I don't recognise your steam name. I don't just add people when I have no idea who they are. There are also alot of people whom I just plain don't add. Don't take it too personally.

I installed Windows, but the edges of my screen are cut off. :/
Does anyone know how to fix that? I tried re-sizing and changing the resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel, but it didn't seem to work.

I'm somewhat worried about this forum, it seems we've had a recent influx of posters like AwesomeSauce (though none quite as bad as him). Hopefully this trend doesn't continue.

You want to set the resolution from the windows control panel first. Then you might need to adjust the settings on the monitor itself.

Do you use a VGA cable? If you do hit the auto button.

Okay, I take back what I said about uploading the video. I watched it, and I don't think it's worth the trouble of uploading it XD.

It's our show that was put together in a week, and right now, tbh, it sucks ass. It's still great for only the first week of practice.

Welcome to the ROR forums in early 2012/late 2011.

@6677 Did you know you and logoster have the same avatar on steam?

Kline has a button you have to push to back up, but you only have to hold in while you switch from normal mowing to "backing up mode" or whatever that stupid shit is. But I keep mine in the backup mode all the time.
I cut the seat sensor on the ford because I never use it for mowing much anymore.
My granparemts riding mower is missing all of the interlocks and stuff, but it's from around the same year as the ford. It has the hand throttle thing on the side, so you can literally push that forward, get off the tractor, and it will just drive off by itself with the blades on. I've never liked the setup where the hydrostatic lever is on the side. It's just stupid. If you wanna change your speed you gotta take a hand off the wheel, and the steering is so fucking heavy on that thing it's a workout to try and do it with one hand. It's just stupid. If you need to stop quick for some reason, you have to reach down there and pull the lever back, also while taking a hand off the wheel and not being able to steer very well.
I just don't see why that ever seemed like a good idea. Both of my tractors have the hydrostatic levers as pedals. Much safer and easier to use.
