loving the map! my fps is pretty good, getting around 70 - 100 FPS depending on the area, i have a ryzen 5 3600 and a rtx 3060 but most maps dont run this good for some reason
could be the 12 gigs of vram, those 2k textures and trees probably aren't a problem with 12 gigs of vram
Nvidia is so confusing, they have 12GB on the 3060, but 8GB on the 3070? The more powerful card has less VRAM?
Can you delete tirewalls and mesh of the spawn point racetrack and see if it will continue happening please?
Press F11 go to object select (almost top menu) left click on tirewalls, press delete same with race track mesh (it's not a decal road) I am not able to recreate your issue because it runs at stable 60fps on 3x1080p displays at ultra settings on my PC and it's not even high end anymore (Rtx2070, Ryzen 5, 16gb RAM). If that helps you I will just increase low LOD render pixel size so it will render these objects only if you are really close to them, if it's not that then I suppose it's the size of textures and I don't want to do anything with them as imho it's time to push the graphics forward rather than keeping everything in 512x512 px. It's 2021 and I know my map is not the prettiest but it's more about rallying and racing than doing close-up freeroam and looking at the asset quality. I'm not a beamng dev (imagine that lol) so I don't have to stick to their level of quality and spend hours on every single thing. I spent some time on textures and barriers the rest is just space fillers so it doesn't feel that empty when driving 120km/h thru some areas. When PBR will be applied to ground textures and if it will fully support transparency I will do a nice looking smaller map to fully utilise the potential it will bring - until then I want to spend this time on learning Jbeam and other car related stuff. I'm working on this now, spent 3 days on modelling and managed to make a working Jbeam for the main body mesh, the rest is just black magic I'm trying to learn. Cherrier Sprint Car V6 (based on Renault Clio V6 mk2 and Sprint Cars from Brazilian series - you can find it in AMS2, got inspired by how fun they are to drive so decided to do what I wanted to do since 2014, make a decent car mod). Ps. did I just use your kinda rude reply to me trying to help you, to make a sneak peak? Maybe.
Any chance you could make the Autodrom time trial available in just 1 lap? Also, how about a shorter rally time trial? Like sub 1:30, comparable to Automation Hillclimb 2 if you familiar with it
