WIP Beta released Soliad Sunville 2.1

Please read the repo page for information. This mod used to be called the sunbird but after realizing that Pontiac already used that name I changed it.

Rebadging at its finest..

 

Suggestions i've got:
The badging doesn't quite seem right in the lighting on the back, but the back and front do look really good
The configurations could use a bit more - maybe base them on the same system as the Wendover (if you want help with that...)
The steering wheel would probably look better with a completely different design, like a tri-spoke on old cadillacs (but IDK what your skill level is to do this, and rebadging the wheel and dashboard/glovebox would be fine as well)
The dash lights don't work, but you know that

Other than that this mod is really good and honestly looks better than the stock moonhawk : D - I really like the outdoor tach, and it does look great overall. Honestly rebadging some low-end legran and moonhawk wheels would look a bit better as the ones now look out of place.

I can't complain too much, it's better than I could do and honestly really really good. I love facelift mods such as these and this one will definitely be staying on my computer until it's outdated

put a kick lever next to the clutch for the high beams
rebadge the interior
maybe a sort of continental for a luxury model?

what exactly are you thinking for this… front/rear end? Whole thing? I’m not at the skill level to make a custom model, or I would have done it already. I might try changing up the front and rear end a bit more but the moonhawk body will have to do. Maybe a convertible though.

Absolutely!
I just wanted to put the things that I personally had noticed, that way, if there was something additional that I saw that he didn't, maybe it would be valuable to him : )

heres some feedback, i would suggest getting help for the jbeam and stuff since this need a lot of work still

I would also suggest to add jbeam for the tachometer, and also removing it on the Automatic configs to make it a bit more refreshing so to speak
Apart from that its a great idea and I'd love to see this get better

oh and the sunbird lettering is floating but youre fixing that anyway

 

This is such a good idea! It's so great to see an interpretation of lore badge engineering.
Here are my suggestions for the mod: (this may be overkill, so please don't misconstrue my criticism as disliking it)



For the record, the following suggestions are just that. I believe that this mod is great with or without the integration of these suggestions:

1. the hood-mounted tach is pretty neat, but it does seem a bit sporty for Soliad (a luxury subsidiary to Bruckell). By no means do I suggest scrapping it, I'd keep it for a sport variant.
2. I like how you changed the fascia as it does make it feel like a rebadged Moonhawk, but one thing that could make it more true to Soliad in the '70s is by making some kind of a Cadillac/Rolls Royce-inspired grille.
3. As you may note, I changed the rear windows' shape. I've taken my inspiration from the '80s Buick Regals and '80s Oldsmobile regency coupes.
