1971 - 1975 Soliad Raimi (Based off the 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 and the 1974 Chrysler New Yorker)

"More then just a pretty car"

The Soliad Raimi was a full sized "luxury" sedan from the early 1970s, mostly known for A; being incredibly slow, B; being incredibly heavy, and C; being harder to kill then a cockroach. While not very visually appealing, the Raimi's reliability and durability have made it a favorite for drivers who need a cheap car to get them from A to B without falling apart.

    Variants:

The Ramshackled: This Raimi Classic would have plenty of unbelievable stories to tell if it could talk. The Ramshackled comes with a few rust spots, faded chrome bumpers, and some paint chips, but all of that shouldn't matter much, she still is a Classic after all.

Custom: The base model of the Raimi, equipped with a 160hp 5.7L V8 coupled to either a 3 speed automatic or manual transmission.

Cruiser: The mid trim model, equipped with a 185hp 5.7L V8 coupled to either a 3 speed automatic or manual transmission. Other features include chrome hub caps, whitewall tires, leather seats, and a limited slip differential.

Classic: The highest trim level of the Raimi, equipped with a 225hp 7.4L V8 coupled to either a 3 speed automatic or manual transmission. Other features include sport suspension, upgraded brakes, a vinyl top, side stripes, rear wheel skirts, wood interior trim, side fender vents, and fog lights.

Street Tuned: A Raimi Cruiser with a few performance parts bolted on, along with a set of Alder Powr-Push wheels, hot rod flames, racing bucket seats, and a aftermarket tachometer.

The Slayer: A true survivor of the apocalypse, this heavily modified Raimi Classic can take whatever you throw at it (within reason), and still keep going. Modifications include a stage 4 supercharger, a cut hood, a ultra high performance radiator, armored window bars, roof mounted spot lights, heavy duty suspension, a roll cage, racing bucket seats, and a custom made front ram plow with "Hail to the King" painted on it.

Exterior and Interior: (Based off the Classic variant)

Has anyone else thought of Hirochi being in need of care/rejuvenation? I know I have!
Tbh, I think Flat engines (Flat-4s and even Flat-6s, since the Flat-6 is a configuration which is yet to be represented by a BeamNG car brand) should be what Hirochi is known for in BeamNG. I say this because Ibishu, which is the other Japanese car brand in BeamNG (let alone some more brands around the world like Bruckell, Cherrier and ETK), already has its fleet of models powered mainly by Inline-4s, so I think there's a good open slot here for the Flat-4/Flat-6 engines to represent Ibishu's opponent, Hirochi, and also make Hirochi stand out of the Inline-4 croud!
The only exception I can make is the base version of the Sunburst, which, for the sake of simplicity and cheap, trouble-free transportation, can retain its naturally aspirated 1.8 Inline-4 and its equally boring (but still optional) CVT gearbox. All other versions though (starting from the yellow 'Sport' variant) could have one of the two Hirochi Flat-4 engines powering them!
Apart from rejuvenating the Sunburst though, I also thought of something else too: adding new models to the Hirochi line-up. The other day I was watching Crash Hard's video, named "Suspension testing the Hirochi Trekker mod", and figured out that a modern Midsize Hirochi SUV (for starters) is a kind of vehicle that's missing from the original BeamNG vehicles list. The image Hirochi is giving me with the Sunburst is that this model is a good and rugged all-terrain vehicle, so I think that by taking this image and expanding it to the Midsize SUV category, a niche which BeamNG doesn't cover right now could very well be filled in! In this niche, the only close enough model I can think of is the Cherrier Tograc 150dQX, but it isn't rugged enough for someone looking for something more in terms of all-around usability!
The rejuvenation could also take place with some more models following the said Midsize SUV: a Midsize/Euro Segment-D Sedan and Wagon based on the same Midsize SUV platform (with the same Flat-4 and Flat-6 engines, available AWD and also a rugged off-road Wagon variant, in the spirit of the Bruckell LeGran SE Campagne) and, for the RWD fun seekers out there, a cheap modern Flat-4-powered RWD Coupe - or Roadster, maybe? - with the classic "Front Engine - Rear Wheel Drive" set up!
But let's not forget to rejuvenate the other existing Hirochi model: the SBR4! It could also be powered by some versions of the Flat-6 and have a new name for these versions too - the SBR6! I definitely think a Flat-6 would elevate the performance and social status of the car and the brand as a whole in the BeamNG lore!

To end this, there's the matter of the engines! As I said, the Flat-6 isn't represented in BeamNG yet but there are also three equally interesting configurations that could enter the official BeamNG list: the Boxer Diesel (which, along with the Gasoline Flat-4s/6s, could also power the Midsize Hirochi SUV and the Midsize Sedan/Wagon models), the Inline-3 Diesel (which, accompanied by a Gasoline Inline-3, could make for the "853t/853td" versions of the ETK 800-Series) and the Inline-5 Diesel (which could make for a performance Diesel version of the Vivace/Tograc, one notch above the 190Sd/190dQ versions, with the 2.0 liter Inline-4 Diesel - and I'm thinking of it with the Widebody of the Vivace S variants, their Independent Rear Suspension and standard Clutchex AWD)!

P.S.1: The "rugged off-road Wagon variant" concept can also work with the ETK 800-Series and modders have already shown us it can be done!
P.S.2: The new kinds of differentials (Active, Sport, Electronically Locking and Torque Vectoring), coupled to the Clutchex AWD, could do wonders to the FCVs! I'm also curious to see how a Clutch-Pack AWD system (for cars with the engine transversely mounted in the front) will be simulated in BeamNG!
P.S.3: The Inline-5 Diesel, along with the Inline-6 Diesel and the V6 Diesel (the latter of which is yet another configuration not represented in BeamNG yet), could also work for the top version of a European Pick-Up Truck!

    What do you think? ;)

I honestly think that the game needs more suvs, weather it be a 2000s Crossover thing or a Chevrolet suburban, beamng NEEDS more suvs. I also agree with you on Hirochi. Hirochi needs some attention and flat 4 and 6 engines is a good starting point. Maybe another thing they could add Is a Hirochi rallying team.

We already have the Gavril Roamer/Roamer L for the role of the Tahoe/Suburban! ;)
Yes, BeamNG needs more SUVs but each SUV must also cover a different marketplace/market niche because the "Unique Selling Points" are what set each other apart, just as it happens with every single original BeamNG car!
The Gavril Roamer, the Ibishu Hopper and the Cherrier Tograc are three markedly different attempts to the SUV concept, so a Hirochi SUV, being more rugged than the Tograc and the base soft-roading versions of the Hopper and Roamer alike, could be a great bridge between these cars.
The Hirochi rallying team could also be part of the BeamNG lore since Hirochi already has the 'Rallysport' blue color in its palette! Besides, Hirochi has already shown us that the Sunburst and the SBR4 can be great rally cars, so why not make an in-house rally/performance brand on its own, offering its tuning/factory racing treatment across the Hirochi model line-up?
The Flat-6, along with the Boxer Diesel, is indeed a very nice starting point, it can help Hirochi get more attention and offer a larger variety of models and versions! ;)

I do still think that we should have a newer generation of the Roamer, but also a Japanese SUV or two (for Ibishu and Hirochi), also maybe an Ibishu and/or Hirochi pickup truck (full-size or compact). We also can’t forget a smaller Gavril SUV slotted below the Roamer, probably similar to a mix of Ford Explorer and Chevy Blazer, and also with older (1990s- 2000s) and newer (2010s-present) variants.

Another thing I would Like to see is maybe a Final edition of the 200BX, that has one of the Hirochi engines, and Hirochi touches.
    something like
    1994 Ibishu 200BX Final
    screenshot_2021-09-15_14-13-50.png
DESC: A final venture from Hirochi and Ibishu to make this special edition of the 200BX, with a hircohi 2.5L I4, only available in white.

I think the Roamer is just fine as is, but if a newer generation ever comes, it certainly has to be larger, fancier and have the technologies of its newer time period, just like its predecessor did.
Hirochi and Ibishu could be great candidates for the Euro-size Pick-Up Truck segment. On one hand, the Boxer Diesel of the Hirochi brand could be a great partner for the Hirochi Pick-Up in Europe, while the Gasoline Flat-4s and Flat-6s could convince the Americans to buy an interesting small Truck! On the other hand, Ibishu's Pick-Up could be the sensible alternative to the Hirochi Pick-Up, being powered by a couple of versions of the same Inline-4 Diesel engine and also a Gasoline V6 for the Americans!
But let's not forget ETK! Apart from the 2.0l Inline-4 Turbodiesel, with 163hp and 355nm of torque, ETK also has the very capable 3.0l Inline-6 Turbodiesel, with 260hp and 580nm of torque, so it certainly could be great in an ETK Pick-Up Truck!
And the said Inline-5 Diesel of Cherrier, along with the 150hp and 190hp versions of the 2.0l Inline-4 Turbodiesel (and, why not, the 1.5l 110hp Inline-4 Turbodiesel, for making a cheap base Truck for Light-Duty work), could also make for an interesting small Cherrier Truck! Difficult choices here, all of them are really good!
The small Gavril SUV could be Midsize and have the 4.1 Inline-6 and the 4.5 V8 as its engine options; the first one with 185hp-310nm from its Late ECU/Late Fuel Injected Intake and the second one with 233hp-425nm from its Late ECU/Late Intake parts!
The Ibishu family SUV, on the other hand, could be a smaller car, more suited to Europe and Asia, with the familiar engines from the Pessimas (1.8 SOHC Inline-4, 2.0 DOHC Inline-4 and 2.7 V6) and 3 bodystyles: a 5-door, a 3-door with a smaller wheelbase and overall length and a semi-convertible, based on the small 3-door! ;)

That's a very weird mix! Shouldn't Hirochi and Ibishu be opponents?

ETK certainly needs a van, but I don't know the correct time period. The modern Diesel engines though tell me that it has to be a van of the last five years, max!
Also, ETK needs an SUV too! A car in the spirit of the 1300 mod could be really good in the BeamNG lore and a Coupe SUV variant could also make ETK the first brand in BeamNG to have such a vehicle!

Yes, they are opponent's. But ibishu was struggling in the late 1990s, so Hirochi decided to help them out.. but only that once.
