This would be impossible to do because the in a stock car the rollcage is literally the the chassis lol Also I assume your talking about the late model mod being the one with the indestructable chassis. Its unbreakable because dummiesman has no idea how a late model actually crashes and probably assumed it was like a gen 4 cup car with a very stiff chassis.
1. The rollcage is the frame of the vehicle, it wouldn't support its weight without it lol 2. The other mod is not NASCAR, it's a latemodel stock car, meant for local short track racing 3. These are completely different jbeams, and I can assure you the cage is definitely not indestructable, although it is strong (like in irl)
I believe the biggest complaint most people were having with that late model car wasn't the chassis being too stiff, but the general body behaving like rubber and just not deforming and coming apart like you'd expect a fiberglass body too. But as you said a couple months back, that definitely isn't the case with your build and I look forward to being released
As someone who has actually personally worked on a late model before, the bodies are normally made of sheet metal and the front and rear clips are hard plastic. Its thin enough where you can not only shake the entire body by grabbing the quarter panel, you can damage the body by simply standing on putting something heavy on it. The late model in beamng acts like a cup car and crashes like one lol

Like said before, the sounds of the cars can't be replicated identical because, well as someone whos watched hundreds of races on TV and quite a few races in person, the cars dont ever sound the same in 2 or 3 different places, so its probably easier getting whatever you can and think is good.
Well, it's been a while without an update, eh? I've been taking a break from this for a bit. Started working with a few other folks on a new project - the Ibishu Tenshi. But this post isn't about that. Working on another vehicle from scratch has taught me even more about JBeam tactics. I created a tactic of mine that has proven to be very effective. And, while I've used it to make the Tenshi have a good JBeam structure at its core, I didn't use that for this mod. And I must say, the current state of the mod isn't too great, and that's why I've decided to essentially almost completely rework the mod. And since I have this new tactic, it should go much quicker this time with a more realistic result! Progress on the rework is coming along well. Really well! Already it has a great result, and seems to be more realistic - though it's still too early to tell! --- Post updated --- Also - if anyone wants to know my strategy for JBeam that produces a result more like the devs', send me a private message!
Great! not alot of nascar bodies on here, the best one currently is the late models hopefully this will overtake it.
Yeah, the latemodel isn't even a nascar vehicle. It's a latemodel stock car meant for short tracks, and and deformation of the beamng version isn't really stunning.
dude im lowkey super excited for it to come out. because i hate the look of the late model. but its a good car just really stiff when it comes to the roll bar
