I tried and updated the mod, i don't know if this fixes the bug, but when the update is approved, i would like to hear your feedback again
R4NKING updated [V6 + V12 Update!] RK's Highly Customizable Engines (I4, I5, I6, V6, V8, V12) with a new update entry: Trying to fix the mod deactivation Read the rest of this update entry...
Same behavior here, unfortunately. Updated the mod, gets activated the first time (if installed from scratch) but deactivates itself on all subsequent launches
I have a suggestion for a new turbo setup. is it possible to make a compound setup? like on pro drag cars? like 1 or 2 smaller turbos feeding 1 big turbo.
I know it wasn't part of the changelog but I just wanted to mention that some vehicles like the K-Series are still missing exhausts.
imagine volunteering to make a custom model, i mean i could do it but i dont want to model 109319230 parts nice mod anyways
I wrote the staffs again, i hope the could fix that. --- Post updated --- Its not that hard to add the engines to a new car, but does the Prasu even work on the newest update? --- Post updated --- Yeah, but how should the torque curve be. low rpm some power and on the top very high power, even more than the Twin Turbos? Idk how the curve is on such a setup --- Post updated --- i have that on my list, but i don't really work on the mod at the moment --- Post updated --- i habe t a custom model would be awesome, but on that mass on vehicles with that many engines and tuning options that would be a lot of work. also to fit every engine in the car with the right exhaust
Can you please add in diesels? like a diesel V8 with some different parts and sizes like the current motors? Great mod btw.
Good idea. Question is if it would be a lot of work to make your engines switchable from petrol to diesel.
https://www.garrettmotion.com/news/...ms-multiplying-boost-for-racing-applications/ If I look at this, I would say the bottom power is higher then single or twin turbo setup, and even higher max power when using a compound setup. What kind of pressures you could expect, I don't know. You could contact garrettmotion, to have an example for a graph at different turbo pressures.
It seems the engines are incredibly heavy, and they all weigh the same, a 2l 4cyl weighs 150lbs more than a (vanilla) 4.5l V8 EDIT: the engines being too heavy seems to be a vehicle specific issue, however the engines do weigh the same
Check out the youtube channel named "Richard Holdener" He does a lot of back to back setup testing on an engine dyno with a bunch of different engine/induction combinations. I'm not guaranteeing that he's done a Single vs Twin vs Compound Turbos, But He's done alot of stuff so it's worth a search
I Added a Customizable Flat 4 For The Sunburst and some engines for some other modded cars. Here is my file:- I also added the Flat 4 file only for those who can add it themselves and edit this to make it compatible with other cars. I just didnt have enough time to make it for all cars.
