New cars usually come with a rework of the old car. For example: 1 - etk 800 sedan version + hybrid 2 - if its new american muscle, then I guess blueback (unless its 4-doors modern moonhawk, because that car needs the update the most) 3 - sunburst, but it seems weird that basically 09-14 production year 'impreza' would have a newer 'friend' 4 - both pessimas with addition of the newest gen of pessima 5 - the new car is entirely new brand that doesnt have any other connections to the other vehicle brands, therefore no rework just small changes alongside the update
I agree, or maybe an entirely new platform with two different cars (like when they released the update with the Cherrier FCV platform, which consists of the Vivace and the Tograc). I can imagine they releasing the new car as a sedan and a coupe, for example.
The Bluebuck I think has been introduced too recently to warrant a remaster. The 800, Sunburst, Pessima, and the Miramar are needing a rework, the Miramar is the oldest, so it might get a remaster. I personally really want a new Pessima. However, the looks of the teaser car are frankly too generic to really say what country its from. It looks sporty and low-hung, which is basically the look of every new sedan, at least in the US.
Took the words out of my mouth... Also, i don't see why they would make a 3rd gen of the Pessima, it seems a bit lazy
The new car reminds me for some reason, partially on Kia Stinger, mixed with Genesis G70 cues. Though we do see it has grille, so most likely it will have petrol (and diesel?) engines. Hybrid is also possible.
If this is a new Miramar then that would screw the lore of that WIP 2020 Miramar mod that @Velstydez and someone else were working on
I wonder if tire heat will come be in this update, considering the end of the tire physics post where it said, "In the longer view, once we finish stabilizing and cleaning up the latest work, expect things to warm up a bit "
Didn't know of either of your points. I had heard rumours of the era about Ferrari being almost strapped for cash (just like Lancia was until Fiat bought the brand in 1969 and tbh, the future of Lancia wasn't gonna be the best either) so that would be a logical conclusion, to make more 'affordable' cars, being engineered by Ferrari but having the Fiat badge. Idk, that was what I thought. --- Post updated --- What next? An Oscar Mayer Wienermobile?
We would't truly know what market this car will fill until we see some sort of dev blog post on it or at least some more screenshots. I'm just hopeful this in't like the Wendover where we had to wait nearly 6 months untill we saw proper ingame photos of it. I'm definitely on the guess of it being a fullsize European luxury car as it's definitely a market that needs to be filled in BeamNG (outside of mods). Plus yah know V12.
I'm not too sure on it, the 6-month update is likely due to some other big backend project (which would take away from the time to work on tire thermals), and it's implied there that there is probably more fine tuning that needs to be done to the general tire mechanics before thermals can be implemented just yet.
In the teaser image, you can see a rearview mirror, which suggests that the vehicle's interior is at least partially done. This makes me think that the vehicle itself is pretty complete.
If it's in game then it must be somewhat mostly done (and people have pointed out that it is in game)
