I've always been the pussy that only really drinks cider. Although someone told me that american cider is pretty much just apple juice with no alcohol in it? Over here we just call that apple juice.

What you really want is this stuff:
    cuvee.png
"A clear sparkling cyder, pale straw in colour with a fine mousse. Cuvée is dry but rounded with mouthfilling body and fruit. It has a complex appley palate with floral notes and a good lingering finish.", or fancy schmancy words for: it tastes good.

We have Cider here in the states like you have, but generally in the states apple cider refers to a non alcoholic drink, basically a rich apple juice with spices often served warm. i never really drank for taste but that stuff you described sounds nice. :)

We have apple cider which has no alcohol in it. (Sometimes we get sparkling cider which comes in that kind of bottle but it's non alcoholic.) We also have that kind of cider you described. I dunno, I haven't drunk any alcohol other than a sip of wine, really.

Well, since I sold my old netbook my funds from that are going to become available soon. ($80.) I can't decide what to blow it on. (No one say save my money. I am incapable of doing that.) Here's what I was thinking:

An M4400 motherboard for my laptop (Upgrade the GPU and gain support to upgrade the CPU later on) and a new 9 cell battery for my Latitude D430
An SSD ZIF drive for my D430 (Currently has a slow 40GB ZIF HDD)
A Logitech Driving Force GT wheel (I currently use an Xbox controller)

Do you guys have any suggestions for some good books to read? I've been waiting so long for The Blood of Olympus to be realeased and need something to tide me over for the time being.

The Eragon series (technically Inheritance Cycle) is good. Though it might take some time to finish...

ME TOO! Man I've been waiting too long. I read the original 5, then the first one of the Heroes. Lost Hero IIRC. I've been waiting a year each for the other 4. Son of Neptune was good, Mark of Athena was good, and House of Hades was a bit more intense IMO. Holy crap I've been waiting so long though. o_O it comes out October 7th. :D

Anyways, some other series are the Maze Runner and Little Brother. I've read the first of each. Maze Runner already has the others out (4 IIRC) and Little Brother has one more already, not sure if there is a 3rd coming out.
Maze Runner is good and pretty neat. Pretty crazy but family friendly. Little Brother is cool, but is a bit of an overdone tech adventure from 2006 or 2008 so the exaggeration that was there is the first place looks a bit silly. Not as family friendly.
I also like the series called The Seems. It was an awesome series when I was 12 but they never made the 4th book. :(

Them too. Never read them though I want to. :\

I forgot I have the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan on my nook. I might try and read those 3 books before The Blood of Olympus comes out.

They seem good but I couldn't keep my gods straight. Got mixed up with my already confusing Greek/Roman issues. I was reading Harry Potter, LOTR, Heroes and The Seems at the time though. :p
The characters seemed cool based on the first few chapters.

Inheritance Cycle is best cycle. The Eragon movie sucked balls, though.

"The 1st Wave" by Rick Yancy. Currently on the 5th in the series, and they are really good for people who like the sci-fi alien stuff.

I read some fucken series of books a few years ago and they were awesome.
I forgot the damn name though. Hold on let me dig them out.

    - - - Updated - - -

Alright I found them. It's a three book series.
The first one is called the maze runner, the second one is called the scorch trials, and the third is called the death cure.
It's about a bunch of teenagers that have had their memories wiped and they're trapped in a maze or some shit. Great series.

It's like the producers read the back of the book and decided, "This sounds cool, let's start making a movie of it! But we only have time to skim the book... Whatever, it'll still be great!". They also successfully screwed themselves by removing characters that make up half of the second book and changing Arya into a human (her elf-ness is slightly important).

I want a crown Vic to snow drift in the winter.
One time I managed to actually drift a lawn tractor in my yard when it snowed.
It was perfect form and everything. Front wheels guiding, rear wheels spinning. Had to end it cause I was heading straight for a tree though.
