First of all, i'd like to thank all which teached and helped me while my modding projects, support me and my works in any way and in general everyone which keeped the things constructive when i was maybe not (sadly, but happened). I also excuse anything toxic or rude i said to a hand full of people in the past. last but not least a small info, the RS6 mod is basically a meshslap mod based on the etk800 if u don't like mashslaps please just oversee this thread or think your part about it i already know what some maybe think about me and it's fine just let us keep this place constructive if u have impressions or constructive help for me you're welcome Now let me tell all which are interested and dm'ed me much times past month what's actually happening on the Mod. Update log Sept 13.2022: - started the whole mod from beginning with the same CSR2 3D model but it's scaled now 18,5 inch longer, 8 inch wider and 6 inch higher as the last released version of it and has now the exact real life dimensions. i stripped down much on the model to a minimum to reduce a few polys on this highpoly model and scratched a few parts for it in blender which was not there before. Spoiler - i retextured and uv mapped everything on the car which was pretextured from the source game including dash buttons, seats, stichings and so on. almost every material is now on v1.5 pbr with metallic, normal, ao, ref and any other layer map Spoiler - every jbeam is redone cuz of the bigger size of the car and fit the body and parts best possible on this way. the wight and some other factors got also adjusted of many parts and match to the real ones. Spoiler - the engine is a hot-v now and general all mechanical or electric parts like diffs, transmissions, turbos, ecu, suspension brakes etc. are nearly identic to the irl in sight of data. also modeled here and there some parts like the charging system and exhausts. Spoiler - the car it self is build different from the base etk800 literally no file and setting in it is untouched and brings a ton of personalisation and customisation parts with it which the audi RS6 online configurator also bids you to configure. Spoiler it's much more made and the pictures were taken over time from 3 month or longer in the past some stuff on them is unfinished or slightly changed etc. the car is still wip. out of priv reasons i can't spend that much time in it for now so i'm just making slowly progress on it here a short overview what it will bring with it after i release iit here. Mod features so far: - Jbeamed 100% - PBR 100% - 5 Bodykits which could also get customized it self again - one more body (mid engined race build) - 6 Sets of rims each in 5 different finishes - full working digital gauges & headup with a lot of electric stuff build in (cody by Marcel, thank you very much for that ) - full working lights and audi animations in them - 8 different interior leather and inlay finishes for about 10 different zones(wheel/seats doorpannels and so on) - i forgot a lot but best is to look on it after you can get your hands on it known bugs: - highpoly / propably spiking after crashing thanks for reading I will post and kepp this now up to date if i made bigger progress actually no download aviable here ! the old version could be found on several third party sites Model Credits to: CSB & CSR Racing 2
thanks for the detailed bug report. the thing on the rear seats is .. it was never planned that people took them out but i will see what i can do to fix it
This is possibly a later version of what i saw floating around the russian websites not long ago? I'll give it a go and see how it is. The ones on the russia websites weren't.. very good. But occasionally you get a winner. XD
my verst version of the rs6 was a whole other model and it was my first mod for beam ng.. it got leaked and reuploaded all over the internet, so yes i think the car which u saw was my build. this is my second build Rs6, i made the whole mod a second time and used a new 3d model and new textures for it and also updated it once so this is V3 of it. still not perfect but definitly better than V1 or 2
Sweet! I also noticed your name. I also have your M4. Have you updated that at all? I was playing around with that to.. It's idle sound was incredibly loud.

I have mentioned it in the replies on the M4 but here you go in case you havent seen it (Yet): I agree that the M4 sound is by no means perfect (Quite frankly, far from it) But it was a request from IATL himself and he wanted something that was loud as all hell and so he received. Despite it being decent, it is in fact due for some improvement and i will be working on that over the next few days (Along with some other fixes that the car needs drastically)

the merc thread is back somehow. wasnt there a few hours ago. mods be doing a bit of trollage i assume..
am i missing something or is this a bug? when i spawn the regular rs6 it makes way less power than it should, about 490hp when it should make about 590hp/590lbft put a turbostge 1 on and it jumps to something like 650.
Not really, i would assume it was removed or disabled by accident? Hard to say as you cant really recap the reason on why it was sweeped for a few hours or so. --- Post updated --- Most likely its either the wrong engine or something in the base JBEAM stuff is off the charts, either way ill be taking a darn good look at both this RS6 and the M4 from IATL as both are in dire need of an update. (And im not just talking about the motor here)
Sadly using assets from other games is a sore spot around here.. With that said if the devs condoned it they would probly get sued into oblivion. Where else can we get non-leaked versions of your mods when they are removed from the forums?
Id say your best bet is to ask IATL for a link to his Discord or to have a look on the 2FastRacing forum as he is posting his mods on there as well. (And they dont get removed there, be it licensed assets or whatever else it may be)
I feel like what technical stuff can be improved on this car is overall handling. From what I remembered the RS6 have pretty comfortable control, but right now mine feels a bit slidey, or it's just because I'm a keyboard user.
Dont worry, its not just your keyboard and fixes/improvements are being worked on as i type including some new additions.
